I'm having trouble getting my CV fixed/forward facing guns all firing. It looks like the advanced laser cannons have a max of limit of 16 in the description but i can only seem to get 5 firing at a time. The ones which fire appear to be the last 5 placed.

Is the description just wrong or is this a vanilla issue I don't understand. I generally haven't messed around much with fixed weapons on CVs but it's odd.

Items are no longer supported in the config.ecf file, only the older blocks.

ravien will you be putting the easy to config drill stuff back into the config file like it was in 1.6? and if so could you add the sv laser drills to it I didn't find it in them in the 1.6 config file.

Sorry if this has been reported already, but I had a weird issue after spawning a blueprint base on a starter planet. When i came back to the save file the next day, most of my base was buried in terrain. It was still there but it looks like the world spawned in with a higher elevation over my base.

The recipe for the automated asteroid drill turret seems to be wrong - it takes 16 advanced electronics vs 16 much more expensive advanced power regulators for the fixed version.

FARR NPC Vendor "Gold Standard Trading" does not have any interaction with player (blank dialog), I see this vendor at Bazaar of Farr on planets and FARR Trading Station.

Pentaxid surface deposits on moons seem to show up with gravel texture, encountered this on one of Oscutune's moons. (Not sure if it's deposits just on the moon or everywhere else in the galaxy)

I adjusted my blueprints to RE 1.7.

They work fine so far, but I have no the time to test it before RE 1.7 release in the deep. I wrote also some info to the blueprints how to have a good start. If someone finds a problem, it would be great you report back. Thanks,

It would be nice if Eleon opened up the hardcoded stuff a little more- like allowing a modder to buy Unity resources to use or add sound effects.

I can't access heavy railgun or large vulcan CV turrets from passenger seat or control station, is this by design?

Can't truly mod sounds so best I can do is give it a vanilla sound effect. Custom sounds disappear when the tracer hits and likewise that also makes it hard to make a good tracer for such a fast moving tracer especially at close range.
Can only work with what I got. I'll see if I can at least give it a better firing sound.

Zirax Ammo was added to the creative menu in 1.7. Not all ammunition, just the 3 main ones (plasma, rocket and laser).

I am trying to test ships in creative mode, but I can't give them Zirax ammo. It was also missing on 1.6, but can you add it please? Also Colonist ammo would be useful. When I type Zirax in the search, all that comes up is cargo, a salad and a cocktail :)

Ravien, I understand that The Throne may have empty playfields. But this one had the weird BA_Alien POI. Scans to only [Zirax] until you get closer.

Also please do something about the graphic of the LX shot..pretty wimpy small thing with a pee-shooter sound, when there is a block on the way, it looks slightly better with a blue glow/halo when there is nada to impact, maybe triple the size of that for the normal hit shot. For the size of the LX ( it is effectively about the size of 12 Artillery cannons) I would expect it to do a frackton of damage like 5-6+ blocks deep 1x1 or 2x2, have a much larger shot graphic and sound / feel like a cannon went off - not a pistol, or maybe a nice loud electrical discharge sound signifying the coils loading and discharging and probably rock the ship fairly hard it is a lot of mass moving.

Was doing some testing of the new CV weapons, Positron, LX and MX, they seem extremely weak compared to a full set of 12 Arty which destroys 2-4 deep / 6x6 wide of HS full blocks per shot, the Positron(7) would take out ONE block using a FULL clip/charge, MX(4) 1-2 single blocks ....the LX was laughed at by the block it hit. I know its not all set / balanced yet, just thought I'd point this out, since ATM it is not worth the weight of even having these on your CV.

Loving this so far, a couple of things that I noticed:

I turned in a job for hacking software to quantum star (overclock I think?). I got paid, but kept the software.
The abandoned tomb POI seems to have standard loot instead of gold coins or the quest items (which actually makes quite useful since those are all ultra rares). The looter ship POI seems to be ok.
I don't think I've seen any satellites in solar orbit?
Sepsis and radiation sickness are mentioned, but seem to be missing their own entries from the medical database.
I ran into a pirate jammer frigate, and it sent me into a COQ loop. Seems to reproduce, I got the same crash by spawning it in, setting it to pirates, then giving it fuel. Seems to be in SearchDockingPane?

Oh. Isn't that wasteful? I've been using the plates for things, so having it just automatically eat them for a process that at a glance looked like a loss was a bit weird to me.

Yes, the furnace can break down plates into ores, then process those into ingots.

Made a furnace, when activated it took it upon itself to smelt Titanium plates into ore.

If the only changes that happen are to configs, than you will be fine to just update. If there are poi fixes, which I assume there are, than you would not get any of those fixes. You would not get any playfield fixes either if you kept the test server save.

why are thrusters for cv s cranked so far down with the new version i would expect them to be are almost double the value due to a limited cpu as it stands now the only thing worth flying is a carbon block monster .in other words your flying a friken tree it makes no sence weapons are already op enough to destroy any ship block made and zeno will literaly be a waste of time getting as it stands now this just forces many servers and single players to go over limit breaking your intention with cpu limits

Dont rotate it, as you are placing them thats fire direction, if you rotated them, then theyre aimed to side.

Just a heads up went to the Abandond assembly yard in alpha sector on starting planets and just walked in no enemies or turrets defence working, it was just free loot! and hovercrafts hugging the terrain other than that great so far.

I have been testing in space, and just FYI, there are a lot of completely empty planetary sectors. No POIs, no ships, no drones. A couple had a single POI just labeled [Zirax] and when I got close, it emerged into a [Zirax] BA_Alien. It looked like a placeholder as it was clearly a land base shaped like those tall things on Progentior planets with the triangular holes. I don't know if this is a bug or just the way you setup the test release.

Other than that, I didn't really find any bugs. Looks super. Thanks to you guys for another job well done.

Turrets have a max rof of 0.25 (4 times a second) when controlled by the AI. This is hard coded and cannot be changed.

Noticed since I've been screwing around with REF/ED the Heavy Weapons on ships don't actually 'retract' when powered off, also Heavy Gat turrets seemingly only burst fire instead of a steady stream of bullets... Curious if that's fixable?

Yo ravien, I'm freaking loving the brand new gatling cannon bullet animation, but I see that the minigun turret is still using the same old projectile effects, is that intended and if not, are you guys going to implement the new sexy projectiles to the turrets aswell? :D
