I tried following the same architecture for Stellaris as well but the biggest problem I ran into was that the Stellaris code was more optimised than HOI4, so the file structure was very different.
I could probably eventually figure out something, but for now I'm satisfied by the HOI4 x10 haha
Most likely, I will need to decompile the game and look for a list indicating when the modifier color in the description is blue and at what value.
It's still a fair amount of work even with ChatGPT prompting, especially the manual sorting for whether a modifier should be multiplied by 10 when its original number is negative or positive, so I can understand why mod authors have a hard time updating their x10 mods.
It should still work with current versions of HOI4 since it's just a defines change.
