Hey If u drive a vehicle get out, and then get in to drive again the mods stop adding ur driving skill stat to the vehicle

I assume so, but I cannot test this in b41 at the moment. I'm working on updating it to B42. You would just have to test. Make sure not to do that on a current save.

If I put the bad steering wheel line and go through the levels, will I lose the line? If not, it would be interesting for you to put it.

i got the issue if i want to configure the mod sandbox settings mid game with admin power that the list of options is too long for the game to handle which results that starting with "damage mitigation level 3" and everything after it is just on top of each other which leads to my issue that i can't configure any settings on the fly.

if i configure said settings in the ini file, the moment i load the server it gets overwritten.
how can i fix that?

If i understand this correctly, this just makes Speed Demon just give you louder reversing since the max speed will scale with your driver level? Like, getting Driving 5 will be just like me having Speed Demon without the louder reversing or do they stack?

for some reason xp and levels is rapidly gained within seconds of eachother no matter if i set the chance in sandbox to 1 or 1000

Bug : You can't choose Taxi Driver occupation after dying. Can only say for sure in Multiplayer, didn't test in SP

@Spider If you're a car person you will know that you would care about it, therefore care for the parts that it has. Just now I put some specific oil to help the engine work better without dying faster. There's also plays with the RPM that you can do to keep the engine healthy. I have taught myself to drive my car at 1000rpm per gear(recommended 2000) because I've taken my time to put the better liquids in the car, so when I got the car I was near breaking the parts inside it because I was a beginner driver and now the engine is magically better because I became a better driver and learnt more about the cars.

i dont know why but the car engine quality magically getting better as you become a better drives seems a lil funny to me

Mod works just fine, if you're seeing something broken you have mod conflicts.

I cant read the books in MP server and they worked before Q_Q

It's the Lifestyle mod that is in conflict with the books. I disabled it and driving books remembered how to book.

Mod Driving Skill books EN doesn't fix the issue that books are unreadable (the read option won't pop up and error comes up).

It seems that the driving skill works as intended on dedicated MP server, but the books are not working and there is no mod to tweak driving skill multiplier.

I confirm that the skillbooks do not work, they cannot be read :/

@absolute to know if its working is when you're adding traits to your character. There's a good driver trait that give +1 into this new made skill

The Cab Driver profession isn't there when you respawn. Can you please fix it? I have to restart the server each time.

How do I know if this mod is working, it shows up I thought you drive slow at level 0 or is it the opposite sorry just having a hard time understanding how it works.

@Toasterdude Which mods add those traits? I went looking and couldn't find them because Steam's search system sucks/doesn't look in the description for search terms. Based on a *very* quick look, my guess is this code within this mod is what overrides all the other mods. (It sets various stats without taking into account current what the stats already are at, causing an overwrite)

This mod removes other modded driving traits such as Off roader, student driver, and expert driver

The driving books do not seem to work, they have no read option and upon right clicking them it procs and error.

@angel taco Or you can just get a car and pin it slowly against a wall or smth, then turn on cruise control. It will count as driving yet the car won't move, and exp will be awarded. Now you can AFK and return to lv10 driving lol
Also - regarding exp gain chance in sandbox, is it higher the number, higher the chance?

@Feint that happens at level 10 the traits not removed but the boost at ten counters sunday driver.... TBH I'd HATE to see what a speed demon would be like at level 10

Would be great if you can make sunday driver disappear after you get your driving skill past say level 5
