Would it be possible to get a randomised option that spawns the bags with say +/-10% of their actual stats rather than all bags having random stats from the same range?

I really enjoy having a reason to check out every bag I find, but it always feels a bit weird to find a schoolbag with twice the capacity of a duffelbag

For some reason all the Grey tiered crates are unavailable to craft. Tier 1-3 of all are enabled on the server:

Hi, there seems to be a little problem with my mod. I've limited my containers to 250 capacity in my server settings but when I get into the game I can craft up to 750. Anyone got a solution?

A side issue: Filibuster's used cars added trunks that have more than 50 weight. This mod allows for them to be uninstalled. The base game does not allow interaction of items that weigh more than 50.

I know there is an option to change weights of vehicle items, but I was wondering if you would consider adding a toggle to disable uninstalling the trunk in the first place. I prefer having tires and other car parts weigh as much as they do, but being saddled with trunks that potentially cannot be reinstalled/removed without admin/debug tools is an issue.

Yeah, errors appear when trying to configure containers from this mod, specifically tried the halfcrate t5 and cardboard box t1. I even went and tested it with just a those two mods (plus the basic mod manager/error log mods) loaded. No errors when configuring regular vanilla ones.

@Kelzhul Are the errors specifically happening with containers from this mod? If I ever do, I'll consider Industrial Fridges. Simple Sling is not supported, but I'll add support for it in the next update.

I'm getting tons of errors when I have the window for manage containers open, wonder if anyone else is seeing anything similar. Manage container functionality is still there as far as I can tell, just a scary amount of error reports stacking up.

If you do ever add shelves/other containers that have sprites that change based on content, can I request the industrial fridges? Seeing the furniture fill up as you put stuff in them is real neat.

Is simple sling (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2868394326) supported? I didn't see it in the list, but I'm not sure which mod the webbing/chest rig options are referring to.

@Snek I'm assuming you're referring to the Tiered Storage Containers, they can be found under the "Containers" tab in the crafting menu, to get higher tiers, you need to alter the "Tiered Storage Containers" option found in the Sandbox Options, then reload your save/server. More information can be found in the FAQ.

@mrk1805 There is currently a bug that allows crafting higher tiered containers, the issue is fixed in the next update. Will look into adding a compat layer for that trait.

@Gamgee Recipes get added when joining a server, reconnecting re-applies the recipes. You shouldn't need to recreate your character.

Also as others have mentioned, the More Traits mod adds a trait called "Ingenuitive" which automatically teaches a new character all recipes. This is an issue for the containers because it allows people to build all tiers of containers, even if the server is set to disable certain tiers.

If anyone has a mod compatibility patch or knows how to fix this, please let me know!

Hello, @Dane. I'm having trouble with Tiered Containers on my server.

The sandbox setting is already disabled, however some of our players can craft up to Tier 3 and 4 at random.
Players with Ingenuitive from More Traits mod can build containers up to Tier 8.

Is there a way to erase all of the Tiered Container recipes?

Hi, I'm currently trying to use it with Brita's Armor pack and is not working (Dedicated SV).
I also have the Eliaz Better Backpacks. Do I have to Remove it from the SV to make it work with Britas armor or is another problem?

Im using this mod right now on a private, self hosted server and it doesnt work somehow.
When I use that mod in singleplayer with other mods it works perfectly, but when i switch to a hosted server it somehow doesnt change the size or anything like that. Im using the same mods on the server like i did in the singleplayer world where it worked.
Maybe somebody can help me out with this?

I'm paying for my Project Zomboid server and when I go into the Sandbox settings, there is no option for "Customizable Container". I even looked at the ini file and there is no option there either. It's however showing that it's installed on my server because it prompted me to install it upon joining the server. Does this even work for people who are paying for their server and have to use a Game Panel to maintain their server? I'm with Host Havoc if that makes any difference.

@aril2 Thank you! I'll look into the issue. Adding any shelves might be harder, considering they have some function that shows sprites with and without books on them depending if they have items in them, so we'll see.

@Das Mexikaner Thank you! "RunSpeedModifier" has been disabled a while back, so it doesn't do anything in the game. I'm a bit confused about your issue, wearable containers 'do' show RunSpeedModifier 'if', the container has that value set. Otherwise it won't show, and is regarded as having a value of "1.0". The option bug will be fixed in the next update.

@JUSTLOL This mod alters wearable containers with capacity or weightreduction values(backpacks, bags etc.) and also adds New containers to the game that are craftable, adding and removing the mod to an existing world won't have any side-effects, the only thing is Tile-based containers will become invisible if the mod is removed.

@rawgu I'm not entirely sure how to remove invisible objects, maybe try using -debug as a launch parameter and try to delete it using that.

@BrTz I'll look into adding support for those mods(though ADVANCED G.E.A.R is already supported).

This mod is top-notch, and should honestly become part of the vanilla options in some capacity. I did notice that up to Tier 3 of containers were craft-able even though I left the the corresponding sandbox option at the default of 100/Tier 1. I then set the aforementioned option to the max of 10,000/Tier 8 and everything is craft-able and working as expected.

Since there is already an option that disables the effect of RunSpeedModifier on equip-able containers, would it be possible to add an option that displays the stat on the tooltip (with additional text that explains it fully applies when the container is filled to the max)? I drove myself absolutely mad trying to figure out what mod I was using that disabled the RunSpeedModifier stat on equip-able container tooltips, only to realize it was vanilla...

Hi there, yeah sorry to ask but I still don't understand what this mod for I know it creates a customizable container but how does it work in game. I want to enable this on my old single player saves so i'm afraid if I do enable it, its will corrupt my longest running save, so what I want to know, is this mod allows me to have customizable backpack and does it work on old save I have read through your pinned FAQ and i still don't really understand it.

hi there, I have a weird issue. I've added this mod in my game months ago and I crafted the tier 1 military crate for my stuff. Now after not playing this save, or zombo in general, I logged back on on my save and the crates are invisible? My stuff is all there, in the UI it shows the crate but visually it is not there. I tried crafting another one and placing it and that is fine and shows up. Do you have any idea why this could've happened or how I could "pick up" or get rid of the invis crates? Tysm!

Hi, it's me again, I came to bring some mods that would be interesting to add compatibility, Survivalist Hiking Bags, ADVANCED G.E.A.R. - BUILD 41.60+, Geared zombies, more backpacks in this specific case it is the ranger backpack which is not compatible due to mod updates and the STR which is also due to updates

Thank you @miiihko for your support :) Seems this problem runs a bit deeper than I thought. I remember seeing over the past few months very similar mods to that one. So I decided to look around for more and found Another one that uses an exact copy of my code... This one has also fairly recently been requested support for by the creator itself. Seems like people are just stealing then re-releasing almost the same mod with different names and cover art(with some values switched around). Seems like @Unamelable's mod is the source of this infringement.

I just found something, which to me is quite disheartening. First off , to me, using other modders' code should be all and good if any major changes are made(to the point where it's almost unrecognizable). But, when going over the code from this mod , I noticed that the creator had taken an exact copy of my "RecipeDetection" Function. This to me, is not okay. What he could have done, was to ask me, but he has not.

@Franchouchou Yes it is a bug, seems as the recipes aren't being detected properly, this will be fixed in the next update.

@Layth36 Very, there's no incompatibility and is even endorsed by Noir, if you read his description.

@spectrum.ver.x I don't see what that has to do with my mod? It just looks like you're trying to alter my recipes. I don't know what you want me to do with that information.

@Booster Seems very unlikely that this mod would cause that. The only options this mod have that would allow 'varying' capacities is the randomized options, and they only affect wearable containers such as backpacks, fannypacks, not vehicle trunks or trailers.

@FBI unit I don't know how to process that.

@ziplock9000 I don't have any specific containers planned ever, I don't really plan very far ahead.

@BrTz I'll add support in the next update.

@Dragon Fruit Yes, "Tiered Storage Containers" is the option that controls that tiers can be crafted.

Somehow I cannot find the the tiered Metal Cabinet on the crafting window. It is in the game if you debug give the item. Tested this with just mod manager, mod options and Customizable Containers active on a new game. Is this a bug?
