A players suggested to me to check a vanilla portrait mod to integrate it into mine. I know your ins the best ver made. I'd love to use some portraits to replace the vanilla one fo the characters that are included in my mod "Historical Leader Replacements [vanilla portraits version]". Is it possible ? For example, I wish Eduardo Santos from Colombia, that come to power through an event in my mod. (by the way, there is a mispelling on his name. The "s" is missing at the end of his name).

Community Portrait Pack добавляет более 500 новых портретов (больших и портретов советников), нарисованных в стиле Vanilla.

Ah fantastic!
I look forward to this being updated. I loathe how Paradox *still* can't be arsed to give those four French generals portraits, despite it being *quite* a while since they were added.

I will update this mod, to make it compatible with the patch which will be released today, as soon as possible.

The game will have new Vanilla unique portraits for characters who previously had generic ones.
I will track these characters and decide, case by case, which one will keep his modded portrait, and which one will use his new Vanilla one.

Also some portraits will probably use new references, so I will have to check the changes in the portrait mapping.

Hopefullly, I'll be able to do this today. Depending on the amount of work, I'll also change the new portraits of Hitler's inner circle (especially Himmler and Goebbels, but maybe later Göring), as I don't like the ones shown in the Dev Diaries. These new portraits might require 24 to 48 hours though.

Later this week, I plan to give new Austrian generals proper Austrian uniforms, as they seem to use German ones in Dev Diaries.

@eightman: as long as you rename every single file, I'm OK with it. You can reuse the content, but the file structure belongs to me. Keep in mind that portraits that end with _CirclePete or _[enhanced] are mines, but others do not belong to me.

It is sad that three Norwegian admirals still do not have their portraits, Jacob von der Lippe, Carsten Tank-Nielsen, and Edgar Otto. The only three generics at AAT. It will be my pleasure to share the resources I found if they will be the update in the future!

@Pirkov: I found a new Trotsky portrait for Mexico, and used a declination of it for Trotsky as a Mexican advisor. They should match more, now.

Just got surprised with the new update playing as Communist China; thank you for fixing that last generals uniform color, Is there any chance you could make Mexico's Trotsky leader portrait the same as his army advisor one?

God I love this mod, You made Armando Sales of Brazil look like the real dude unlike other mods. He looks so glorious, I love him so much I have to revert to another version to get his portrait due to the trial of allegiance dlc. Im looking forward to seeing most of the characters on the map look like the real people, thank you for making this mod. It personally makes me happy.

A compatibility update for 1.14 and Trial of Allégeance was released about a week ago, but a major update is coming very soon: most portraits of field marshals, generals and admirals will get their small version, for when the character is promoted to advisor and recruited in officer corps.
Before creating the small versions I refined over 90 military and navy large existing portraits (only a handful large portraits are brand new). Over 120 new advisor portraits will be added.
The art is done, the mapping is coded, and an automatic check was performed to track typos.
I'll test the update this week-end, so the new content will be available in less than a week.

could you tell us when you 'll release the next edition?

After, the release of the new DLC, some portraits of this mod will override the new Vanilla portraits.
It will some time (hopefully less than a couple of days) to remove redundant portraits in a new mod update.

@Kielbaska: my own portraits are the files that end in _CirclePete.dds. You can use them. For others, I can't be 100% sure, but I guess that should be ok, because they gave me autorisation, at least the artists I managed to contact.

I'm going to resume this mod developpement very soon.
A small update is planned in the next days, to disable portraits of nordic leaders who used to have generic portraits but got a unique one with Arms Against Tyranny.
