does this mod work anymore? ive tried so many diff things but nothing working at all...

I have managed to get this drone functioning, I am curious to know if it will automatically recharge when near empty?

Subscribed, but nothing is downloaded, nothing is installed. The mod list is empty. It is impossible to build.

You dont need to reset the sorters, just turn them off manually as well as in the pam menu.

Stuck on a odd issue, I dont know what i did, everything is built and it was running smoothly until my base had a power shortage from so much usage, i fixed the problem with a few reactors, but now the miner just keeps putting the batteries in recharge mode and wont let me control it to restart the whole process, what do i do?

Overall a nice rig, haven't tried it out with PAM yet as I had some trouble with the batteries and with the conveyor sorters. Would've been nice if you used tubes and then just 1 sorter so it's easier to swap out if you don't want sorting as the instructions to allow keeping the stone don't work properly as it then doesn't put it in the containers. It ends up in the connector at the bottom.

Please do note this comment if anyone is having trouble with the programmable block in Hotbar slots 1, 2, and 3. If they don't appear you will have to manually add them with the Arguments of "Up", "Down", and "Apply"

These are in the PAM guide on operations, My guess to why these don't show up in some cases is due to Space Engineers in general, but if my guess is wrong then I will revise this comment.

I really like your facility, would you be generous and share the blueprint? or at least a pipeline conveyor portion and unloading connector tower as a BP to link them together to make a pipeline :) happy to support the effort. let me know

Guy under me doesnt know how to disconnect his subgrid from his main grid haha. Great miner works perfect.

Ignore my last comment. Bot works nicely. Apparently when bot comes home, it recharges to 100% and then continues the job.

Hi, nice job with this mining bot, but i have some problems. First one - when bot returns home, connection lights up yellow and does not charge my batteries. Second problem - bot does not disconnect from home dock and does not continue its job. Anyone faces similar or same problems?

hi Mz i might know why if you dont have many batterys then it will not be able to charge it fast enough i have around 15 battery's and it takes about 5 min for 5 percent

I've built this machine and it worked perfectly well (thank you btw) until it ran out of power in its batteries.
I can't seem to recharge them even if it's connected to a connector. No electricity will recharge the batteries.
Do you know why ? Is it because my base is made of large grid and the drone of small grid ?

does this work with ai enabled?

Says my drone is 64kg weight but says max limit is 54kg and wont take off form dock

works amazing - great design and features. with just one problem: i have to start the drones manually after theyve returned to base with full cargo. so they dont continue the mining job automatically. maybe ive missed something?

Same as blacky, the menu doesn't work. Toolbars start broken.

I have a problem with the programable block. The up, down and select bottons (1, 2 and 3) don't work. is there a way to fix this?

sorters need to be all { UN black listed } for ore stone etc etc etc etc

The drone seems to max out its drill inventory on stone or ice and then just keeps digging into the iron and ends up wasting a bunch and it keeps doing this all while the drills take years to empty. Did something mess up in the copy paste cause it looks like it does in the tutorial but mine seems to be wasting a lot of ore.

@Orion i can say this, when they run while im long distance like at the moon and they aree mining on earth they work somewhat iffy, usualy lose a few because its like the physics calculations are lower priority/dumber and they arent flying with fidelity unlike when im sitting beside them

very nice miner i use 8 at once to power my base and when they fall due to server concealment running out of power etc cause zone is unloaded they either take 0 damage or only lose a battery or a thruster

for perfect squares with no lil rock stubs from hole to hole turn height and width overlapping to 15%......

I think I've got it figured out. Seems to be working for now. I have read a post today that had a similar issue with PAM. But my issue seems to be fixed.

Hopefully this thing only uses 1 sorter, because using more than 1 is not necessary and also makes updating whitelists really painful since you can't do it in bulk.

In such a case maybe you could blueprint the drone itself and upload it to the workshop? Perhaps I'll be able to find out where's the issue.

I'm having issues with it docking and undocking during a job. It will start mining, fill up, then dock and undock constantly.
