i just have some question about Muzzle Flash it's that have anyway to working together? i love see gun effect but all the gun from your mod is nothing there if anyone know something please share to me O7

Anyone else having problem with survival training not teaching you mining skill? Seems like everything else is working fine but only mining.

Strange little thing that just started in a new game, but both the Rangers and Utilitarian are only offering three missions. Same three missions, every colony, no matter where I go. Eltex Meteor, Wastepack Disposal, and Ruin Exploration. If I pod between eight colonies, I could get those three missions eight times over apiece... and nothing else. That's never happened before, I usually have maybe ten missions each, different from place to place. Any ideas?

Alright it's updated folks. Rangers now have vacuum protection and every apparel from this mod is wearable by children, enjoy making child rangers, totally not morally questionable, cheers

Just an update on how the update is going, apparel for children is good to go but adding vacuum resistance for space use and a 1.6 update for the C# just fudged up the mod so this is delayed until Taran sorts something out.

@kingedwored - Hey mate, probably not. I am just adding another graphic and an odyssey stat, if anything maybe CE needs to update their space related mechanics but I'm not adding anything new for Rangers that will mess with their stuff (Besides the odyssey feature for space)

hell yeah, appreciate the work you guys put into these mods. Can't wait for the others to get updated, they all add so much more variety to the game. Though, I do have a good ol' question for her majesty the queen my good fellow. Is this mod going to need an update once combat extended releases 1.6 update?

Hey folks, this mod will be updated for 1.6 today. Just give me time, I intend on allowing children to use the ranger armour and update it to be vacuum resistant. Cheers for waiting, 1.6 is a bit overwhelming considering all the mods but you will get the update.

@Baha - Yes pal, I should update descriptions soon but I nerfed provisions due to a lot of complaints about them being too OP.

@elfxiong - Sorry mate, I am unsure if it already does that but I have some limitations because my coder isn't available like he used to be, so Im gonna find it difficult to add QoL stuff like this.

Just as a heads up, despite the "Survival" training saying that it gives Mining XP, it does not.

I forgot about this since I locally patched it for myself but noticed it again today .

It seems you cannot use most of the faction's feature when in a vehicle. No part time job, no training, no hospital if you're in a vehicle.

Hey folks gonna quickly address some new changes coming to this mod and other RH2 mods like it.

Changes coming:
- Resources gained from the faction will be heavily reduced, some time increased (In the case of salary) from 7 to a full 30 days.
- New Veteran Ranger promotion feature
- Colt Walker replaced with Model 3 on the Ranger Issue
- Ranger caravans and traders have significantly reduced item stocks and wealth
- Bulk recipe for Muffaberg Rootbeer
- Muffaberg Rootbeer fix that stops pawns from picking up multiple bottles at a time when drinking
- The Charge weaponry in the mod will be nerfed
- Non-charge weaponry will not be nerfed, they've been nerfed in the past already

I'll push it faction mod wise as soon as possible, but it'll take some time to get back into the fold of .xml and figuring out what isn't working and what needs to be balanced across many mods

Known issues and why they aren't sorted out:
- Mission bugs
Description: Unfortunately last year the fella who was doing the C# coding for these mods of mine like for missions stopped working for me because they're not that active on RW modding anymore. VE has hi-jacked his talents and I wish their team well, but this means I have to find a new coder to fix issues.

I did bring up the annoying bugs with royalty and I intend to fix it by just outright banning royalty quests from showing up, seems to be a vanilla mechanic not playing nice with being triggered by the mod's features, only working with devmode and storyteller triggers.

@saintbrutal - Please send me an error log, though it sounds like a mod conflict because the feature works fine otherwise

not sure if this has been reported already but the ranger armor when using jet pack function, it spams "Tried to get a material from a different thread." However it does work, i see my pawn flying with the jetpack But with a pink splash around it like missing texture or something from gmod.

I hope it would be possible to add mass production recipies for Muffaberg. A 10x or 12x root beer recipie would help a lot. I want my guys to drink Muffaberg but making them 1 at a time is slow and unrealistic. Nobody brews beer by the bottle, it is alway in quantity. Love your mod and hope you can help with this :)

@chicken plucker - Would love to see a standalone mod that adds the mission service to regular friendly\allied factions. The full faction mods are awesome pieces of work but personally I feel they are a bit more on the OP side but the missions system is the thing I miss the most. This implementation forces travel which is more dynamic play-style than similar type mods that just use the comms console.

Update to my issue regarding pawn generation in quests you get from Enlisted job seeking, been playing a run enlisted with MSF and having the same sort of problem, sadly the issue doesn't seem to pop up in the error log so I got no clue what is really causing it to happen in the first place. Also applies to animals as well so any quests that involves keeping an animal safe is pretty much a no go as well. A real shame cause the whole idea behind the enlisted mechanic is neat and wish I could have more ways to generate quests.

So, bit of an issue with the quest generation, for quests that don't involve a person (be it crashed royal shuttle or Sanguophage meeting as examples) the quest works fine, it's those quests that require a person when picking them from the list of potential quests to pick that I get my issue, in that the objective pawn in question doesn't seem to generate, for the Shuttle Crash example, the other person that lands with generates fine. But the one I need to actually protect, and likewise happened with a 'keep prisoner for x amount of days' quest giving a similar issue. Not sure how to properly post a log but the other normal generated versions of the quests work fine. Just the ones you get from a settlement as part of enlisting is the issue. Haven't tested with the other factions you can enlist in but would assume similar issues.

nono, its not this mods fault per se, i think. if the game is able to bork a quest, it´ll ofc happen occasionally when buying quests. compared to rimquest tho, this triggers more borked quests, so im guessing they have some more checks or whatever running to prevent such

Hello folks. Found a missing sound error, been fixed today.

@Niko - Unfortunately too busy to do that mate, would love to otherwise. I'd make it a framework that would work with any faction.

@CrackaJack - Hey mate, sorry for my late reply here. Is it just a quest generated by the mission board bugging out? I wouldn't directly say its this mod's fault since sometimes quests may bug out in RW. Rangers faction does not tamper with quests, it just forces a generation of it using vanilla in order to get you some incidents.
