damn thats abit annoying, Guess ill have to try and dev mode them back the ammo JUST before they leave the world map to go back to the outpost lol
Hopefully in the future outposts 2 mod this wont be an issue

With the defence outpost what will happen to pawns using guns when they get called to your colony over and over?
as i use combat extended so would they like run out of ammo eventually? and just be useless

tell me, the mod has not yet appeared the ability to build an outpost on the location yourself, and that it is preserved, and not generated with each visit a random structure? maybe there is some kind of addon for this, just I do not know

Is it possible to mess with things and let outposts produce more modded items? Like if I wanted my hospital to produce stimpaks from battle meds, or my restaurant to produce giant meals, etc

(thank you a bunch for this mod btw!!! It adds a fun layer of logistics)

would be possible in a future to add an option to modify outposts? i mean, you could have a military outpost that looks like an actual military base instead of some cabin in the woods, or some option that let's you upgrade them

Pursuing the Archonexus ending, the outposts are still functional after selling off my main base and technology. Is this intended or a known issue?

is the topographical map a kind of anti-theft mechanism? the topographies don't align with the map icons for terrain.
I liked the effect but it doesn't look functional.

town outpost settings are broken, you need 5+ even if you set the minimal to under 5 and the when i set the percentage of chance someone will be recruited in doesnt work

How does the mod calculate the strength of the raid sent to outposts? By the wealth of the outpost (which I assume just means the wealth of all the pawns sent there) or the wealth of your main colony?

A neat outpost would be one that cleans up nearby tiles of pollution. Mostly to reduce/eliminate acidic smog risk.

There doesn't seem to be any options left for back and forth communication with the Vanilla Expanded team for non-paying members and I also haven't seen any change notes that contain concrete details, so I went and looked through the code.

The 'Fishing Outpost' option looks to have been removed at some point and doesn't have any callouts in the code that I can find currently. The description above is at least slightly outdated.

Is the fishing outpost option removed?

I've got vanilla fishing expanded, a pawn with at least 10 animals skill and trying to create one on a tile that is both a river and a coast and it's just not there.

Love this mod! Such a good way to deal with unwanted pawns without having to just send them out to die.

Is it planned to be changed so that the fishing towns can be done with Odyssey as well as with VFE?

Love the mod but I do have one minor issue with it. My pawns keep trying to rope the animals that deliver my goods, and when they get to the pen they break through the doors to get out. Also, I have the option to slaughter the animal, which seems a bit cheesy

Oh and this issue resolved itself somehow, but I had a few animals that tried delivering my goods, but when they showed up, they just walked to the edge of the map and left without actually dropping anything off

Hate to say this but i've checked framework base options and outpost framework options and that setting simply does not exist, i even turned to a youtube video thinking i was being blind https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fnaXAr3mG08 and at 3:01 he shows you the option screen and the setting is there but i don't have that and neither does Lucinii by the sounds of it.
To be clear the options screen is working fine it's just that one setting that's not there any more.

Odd and slightly technical question but..are the pawns used marked as "Forever kept" when in these outposts?
The reason i ask is that i'm using the world pawn mothballing mod that cleans up world pawns and i'm paranoid they'll get deleted by it, does anyone know if the pawns ARE marked or if i need to turn on the gentle option in the other mod?

Sad to say, but without the toggle for outpost battles, this mod is not playable, I will not risk it again, I need confirmation it is either a removed feature, or a toggle off, which is currently is not.

Good to know. I'm still not sure how to read the farming graphic. Plant skill is multiplied by potato, but also by corn? I'm *guessing* that means you get different quantities for each, but it could also mean corn takes longer.

@Anker I have a hunting outpost with no decent shooters that still brings in lots of food. I think it just works off the sum of both skills

Am i misunderstanding something or is the logging outpost supposed to deliver wood after 4 quadrums? It says every quadrum in the description, is it because the outpost is in the Tundra?
