I hope you're doing well! I'm currently putting together a modpack for a Project Zomboid server called "Infected Chronicles," which is focused on creating a unique and immersive experience for our community through rp!. Your mod would be a perfect fit for the atmosphere we're aiming to build. I'd like to ask for your permission to include it in our modpack. Of course, full credit will be given to you, and I'll be sure to follow any guidelines you have. I know you say to not include it but I would figure I would give it a shot. Thank you for considering my request!
Best regards,
Techspartan
Hello, could you please update the maximum allowed learned languages from two? I'm trying to play a polyglot type character and it's extraordinarily frustrating that the maximum limit is two.
Thanks for your time and consideration, and the great mod! It really adds a lot to role playing.
as the current is bassically a yell
What do you mean disable server restart messages? As in /servermsg ? This mod does not conflict with that.
@Sussy Bussy x
You can mute the radio if you hold it by clicking the 'mute radio' button, that's a vanilla feature. Unfortunately the radio also processes anything done by the chat client and as far as I know, it isn't something easily done but Buffy could tell you more.
@freshnapalm
You simply click the cogwheel in the upper right of your chat box and access via the language menu context option.
Also, everything but /all shows in the radio, is there a way to block that too?
Loving it outside of that, really helps build that immersion.
10/10 mods. Thanks for improving all our server's immersion.
@allycatto<3 The language books are all admin spawned to prevent people becoming polygots in random languages lol

Issues during my test:
- When you write a message from discord, it sends a message to the server without the nickname
- Something new player / character can't see the other msg in global
whether on the original mod or with my little overwrite.
If it's can help you :)

Has this fix been implemented? because when a new player arrives on the server and puts a message in the global nobody sees his message.
While he can see messages from other players.
@Owl There is a language system. Reading a book learns that language, and via the cogwheel menu you can select that new language to begin speaking in it. Only admin flagged users and users who have also learned that language will be able to read what you type in a language that isn't English.
I read one and set it to Ukrainian and someone I was playing with didnt even see me chat, if I type something in English will it come out in translated Ukrainian?
This is not to mention all of the things like the chatbubble mod, which would attract zombies as if you were spamming messages in chat. Or just emoting,- that attracts them too since there's no distinction code-wise between a '/say' and a '/me' as far as the java chatbox is concerned. I'm not too versed in the other chatboxes out there, but I am willing to wager they all remove this vanilla aspect, too.
still, whichever direction you feel that this mod should take, i'll be watching intently, since i love the idea.
I guess i just want to have my cake and eat it too :D
@Rem Users can run /name to update their name after they've respawned
