@grandtran Let's find out. What Rimworld version are you on? Are there any other trade or UI related mods you have active? What screen resolution is the game set to in the game's graphics settings?

I'm having a graphical issue where the trade menu is clumped into the left of the screen, and any text for a tradeable item is occluded if its longer than 12 or so characters. anyway to fix it so I can fully read the items?

Oh yeah makes sense. I thought I remembered it being the same in vanilla 😮‍💨 that's why I thought about it being intended as a lot of things are specifically designed in RimWorld for manual use. It's a bit tiring but if that's how it is. Thank you for clarifying)

That sounds intended. This is the same way the vanilla UI handles max trade amount.

If you press the max trade amount button (either right-click with this mod, or vanilla pressing the >> button), then it pushes ALL the items into the trade. There is no calculation done for "put as many items into the trade as possible to leave the trader with 0 silver".

That calculation sounds like something Dynamic Trade Interface added themselves.

Basically there is no button to reset each specific transaction individually, and that's what I mean asking if all those things were intended that way or if I have some compatibility issues?

It didn't stop item transfer at the amount that I or trader could afford with what silver we had. I noticed as well that when you move all items with RMB but you change your mind when you press RMB backwards it also grabs what items trader had. I know there is a "reset" button but when I already set like 15 transactions and want to change 2 then I'll have to set them all up again

I mean if I have 300 silver, trader has 2000, and I need to buy some expensive stuff. In that case I barter with, say, chemfuel, it's fairly cheap but I have 6000 of it. I haven't bought anything yet, and the first thing I do is click on chemfuel with RMB as to offer a bunch of it. And it offers all 6000 pieces which is beyond what trader has, it didn't automatically calculate amount needed (like 1765 or so pieces of it) to get his 2000 silver.

As for mods:
I do have work tab, rimhud, dubs mint menus, achtung, drag sort/select, most of VE and a couple others, so I guess a bunch of mods affecting UI. For trade I have Vanilla trading expanded. I was using dynamic trading interface literally couple hours before and when I sold/bought a bunch of goods it calculated the amount according to how much silver each of us has to pay for it 😅

I do not see that right click behavior.
* Left click piece by piece, the money goes up
* Set trade back to zero, right click once, the money goes to the same number

Any other mods that affect trading or the UI?

Hello, Right click for mass buy/sell doesn't adjust to the actual amount of money you/trader have and you need to calculate it piece by piece. Was it intended for more micromanagement or am I experiencing a small bug?

Thanks for the update, I loved your mod for it's simplicity compared to Dynamic Trade Interface and it was my to-go ever since you released it, just a simple "plug and play", no hassles.

For now I think I'll stick with Dynamic Trade Interface, see if can get used to it, but perhaps in 1.7 I'll return to your mod :D

This version still has the same level of compatibility with other mods. The rework proved to be more work than I anticipated but I didn't want those of you enjoying 1.6 to be without the mod.

I 2nd what Xenozs posted. If you're looking for a similar UI experience, check out the excellent Dynamic Trade Interface which uses their own UI alongside the vanilla UI.

@Hob Took, any update on the 1.6 patch? No rush; just trying to see if you potentially might have it out by the end of the month, as I'm waiting to start my new playthrough until all my favourite mods are updated. ;-)

i forgot this was a mod and not just part of vanilla because of how long i've been using it and how well it integrated seamlessly into the game - the realization slapped me across the face my first odyssey run

Sorry folks, there is no Rimworld 1.6 support yet.

But the wait will be worth it! I am redoing the mod for 1.6 to enable better compatibility with other trade mods. Once that is out, I will look at backporting the changes to 1.5 which may help compatibility with Trade Helper, Autoseller, etc.

However, when using your mod, the buttons from the Autoseller mod are not displayed in the trading menu.
Your mod and the second one are very convenient and I would like to use them at the same time.
