Since this mod has been reported working in 1.5 I added it to the No Version Warning-mod

Hi there, I haven't had the time to update this but assuming nothing critically changed in Rimatomics I see no reason why it shouldn't work in 1.5 as it is.

Does this work in 1.5?

this mod is so nice to use, makes the autothrottle actually useful!
I prefer to run few batteries, and found that decreasing the D component from 250 to 125 and increasing the set point from 0.75 to 0.9 works wonders.
Thank you for creating this mod!
why this always keep reactor power level so low , total power always mineral

Great mod, thank you!

thanks :)

Ouh, so it's a "gentle failing" mod, that's nice. I like that!
Good work, belzebot!

yes, it would only consider the batteries connected to the same network as the control console.

I'm using this mod with Parallel power conduits. It will autothrottle on whichever conduit network the reactor control panel gizmo is connected too.

"Sorry to all of you who use several transformers to feed separate power grids but I haven't found a way to sensibly handle those cases."
But what would happen with two separate networks? Would the Autothrottle just not work at all?

updated for RimWorld version 1.4

Seems genius, Be nice if Dubwise would integrate this into the base mod as a researchable and installable upgrade to PPC's or reactor control stations.

sorry I haven't had the time yet to update this. I'll do it as soon as I can
polios3 Nov 6, 2022 @ 1:19am
Pls, we need 1.4
CurtimusPrime92 Oct 31, 2022 @ 3:14pm
does this work on 1.4?

I see, sounds good. Thank you for the explanation.

There are some failsafes in the autothrottle code, reactor temperature is one of them. If it detects the core to suddenly start overheating, it will trigger a scram and turn itself off. It also checks your cooling capacity and if it is not enough to handle your core at full power output, then the maximum power is appropriately limited to the amount that your setup can still handle. Thus getting a core meltdown with the AT on should not be possible.

I did not code a regulation of temperature as this is an edge case, during normal operation the core temperature is fixed, it only increases further if something goes wrong, e.g. the cooling grid gets damaged or one of your cooling units fails.

I've never actually used the autothrottle feature of the mod so this may be a noob question but does this also watch reactor temps to throttle down if the reactor is overheating?

Thank you for making this mod. This has sparked an interest in PIDs for me. Although I wish there was a way to tweak the values without going into the mod menu, I appreciate the mod none the less.
