but what really gets me confused about this mod is that... you don't have to have the orgy ritual in hedonist ideologies last time I checked. if people are that butthurt about it then they don't even need to use the structure itself, not like it really adds anything outside of the style and the one ritual. this mod is kinda pointless given how flexible ideology is.

though i realize, given the comment section overall, that i'm kinda talking to a brick wall here. there's the unironic use of the word 'soy-ciety' in the comments, i realize i'm not gonna get anywhere. at least this mod was really freaking hilarious to look at. every day i see something new in the workshop, never a dull moment.

In RL, slavery is wrong because it is impossible to practice it without sinning it: if anyone who abuses a slave sins (as the Bible says), then the institution itself must cease to exist because ALL who do it abuse their slaves.

Orgies are wrong because they are unrestrained sin, and exist to satisfy the absolute worst of human lust. They are worse than hard drugs because they corrupt others, not just the one who ingests them, and they spread far more diseases.

I made the Hedonism Meme Structure still meaningful: those who use Hedonism don't believe in adultery and take copious amounts of drugs. It was specifically the idea of an orgy that was absolutely sickening.

A: nothing will be funnier than a handful of people in this community being so against 'degeneracy' in a game where you can sell hard drugs, harvest people's organs then eat them after, or run a slave plantation. like that one parks and recs joke; "I can excuse slavery, but I draw the line at orgies!"
B: if somebody needs a whole ass mod to remove like the core parts of the hedonism meme... then they dont want to play hedonist. like just don't use the meme, lads.

I am not making any changes to the Forbidden Mod. The entire point is sex, so there is nothing worth saving. I heard that one Giga-Chad sneaked Patches in that broke anyone who played with it, and he was anned for it.

It's probably not true, but I can't risk it.

Can you make a mod that removes the minimum age requirement now?

dont you love when someone gets so triggered by a mods existence that they feel the need to personally attack the creator in an effort to prove their misplaced sense of moral superiority? i dont really play rimworld much anymore (especially not 1.3) but gave a thumbs up and a sub to this based masterpiece

Anomaly is quite good. I can recommend it.
There's also some excellent mods for it coming out right now (Maleficus' Fleshmass Mutations, Integrated Implants, Humanlike Ghoul, Deadlife Launcher are my favorites).

As for continuing the Mod, I have a far greater understanding and breadth of "Rimworld" XML mastery, and will be able to more effectively tear out the orgies with less errors. I'll do it this June, when I get the "Anomaly" EP. At that time, I will update it for V1.4 and V1.5 at the same time.

I do believe that recreational sex, and the use of contraceptives, are acceptable only within the confines of wedlock , and solely between members of the opposite sex. My own parents admit to having done and used both in their lifetimes, and neither of those actions are, between a husband and his wife, sinful acts.

It's damaging people's pair-bonding capabilities and objectifying them.
We're simply not able to have it just for fun in a healthy manner.
We can't handle it psychologically.

Just look at modern soy-ciety. Se-x cannot be relegated to the status of "fun" in a healthy manner.
It exists primarily to perpetuate the species. It's too important to just have it as a "toy".
The intense dopamine release are merely motivators. I wish it weren't so, but it is.

This was one of my first-ever Mods, so all I knew how to do at the time was to use a Remove Operation Patch to rip the code out completely. It generates errors by nature, and even with my vastly expanded understanding of "Rimworld" Mod making, I am still limited by having to use pure XML.

Can confirm that this works on 1.4. You just have to copypaste and rename the 1.3 version to 1.4. It's also recommended that you add Cherry Picker into the mix, as from doing so you now completely remove every existence of orgies in the GUIs and such.

P.S. Spotted some interesting differences on the code DLL, the VIE mod had to make the orgies' participants above 18 when the vanilla Lovin' is set to above 16. I wonder why they still had to do that lol.
