<texPath>Things/Pawn/Animal/Fox_Gray</texPath> - is the current incorrect path
<texPath>Things/Pawn/Animal/Fox_Gray/Fox_Gray</texPath> - is the fixed path

I edited it myself and it fixed my issue :) I hope this makes sense!

Seems like traders never want to buy the most cutests of animals.

Is it just me or the only hostile Ancients pet on the map is usually a fox? The Ancients sure had a good taste in pets, but is this really necessary? I usually try to stun/tame the fox and ended with a healthy maikong population. (traders don't want to buy them)

Both the "ThingBaseFox" and "AnimalKindBaseFox" can be deleted.

I just took another look and it seems you have already put the wild biomes in the new fox defs from your mod. But the entire Fox Base can simply be removed. It is not necessary to include here.

Can you teach me how to do it?

Hiding Fox, my point is that it's better for compatibility issues and updates to vanilla if you use patches to make those changes instead of overwriting core files.

You can also set biome spawning in the animal defs too if that's easier.

I am getting a texture bug regarding the grey foxes when I load my game. Looking into the code, it appears you forgot the fox_grey folder for the desiccated body path on two of the three entries.

I think I edited them so that foxes spawn on different biomes

This is a cool mod but you should remove the vanilla defs so it doesn't cause issues with other mods, or even Vanilla itself.

They pretty much have the same stats, I'm not entirely sure how to change them. But they should spawn at different biomes tho
