I believe the devs have "de-gendered" most if the gods, though I do remember sif muna being referred to as female at one point.

That's a fun idea, it's on my list probably. I was thinking a big abyss central area with pandemonium portals scattered around that lead to little sectioned-off pan levels. Since this map played with the gods aspect of the game I figured the next one from DCSS, if there is a next one, should play around with how the levels are layed out and interconnected.
