The "rightclick" menu works like a charm. It is not possible to "withdraw" when psyfocus is full but pawn is assigned to get pysfocus automatically it will result in them keep trying to get it constantly even with full psyfocus. Nothing is drawn from the obelisk they just stand there trying again and again.

I do not know why, but any pawn I assign to get the psyfocus from the obelisk just stands there trying to fill their psyfocus over and over again even though it is full.

While yes that is a massively dick move from the guy who ordered the mod, and I don't want to support such actions at all... I also really like this mod.

How much was the mod meant to be? I would be willing to pay on their behalf if that is alright.

Psyfocus is still limited to 100% isn't it. Have you found a way to increase the amount of psyfocus, or are you trying to ask about meditation psyfocus gain?

quick question: if used with Vannilla Psycasts Expanded, will it still be able to charge fully charge a pawn if it has thousands of psyfocus? Thanks!

Mod its great. Love the art too. But I get a big lag skipe when meditating with the obelisk. Seems like an interaction with "meditation need gene".

:+1: on the Vanilla Psycasts Expanded compatibility (experience-gain); and :+1: to wanting ... some sort of better solution for how psyfocus gets added? Either @Daniel14541's idea, or even better imvho, have pawns use the obelisk only when their psyfocus bar is full during assigned meditation-time.

This mod had some strangeness in my game. Pawns would start meditating wherever they were and moonwalk to the obelisk, and had a clear prioritized work gizmo
Also had lag issues if the obelisk was outside of their allowed area

I suspect some of it was conflicting patches, and attempting to abuse meditation foci stacking with VPE

Did work though, and a way to bank psyfocus other than kill-focused persona weapons or chugging go-juice is extremely useful

Would like to use this but I'm using abima trees which this doesn't really mesh with. Now if there was a way to directly pour psyfocus already acquired i to this pillar I would be all over it! Interested in incorporating something like that perhaps? A way to just push focus into the monument?

Would it be possible to somehow add option for obelisk to choose what focus type you want it as? Im using vanilla psycasts expanded and it allows for combining focci for more psyfocus regen but because obelisk is technically all standard focus types at once it kinda messes up with that and doesnt allow for adding more

Hello Mile. I usually update my popular mods and the update for this is already ready, I just had to upload it to steam and it came out quite awkward lol. I would recommend not wasting time on my mods because I will update them anyway

Definitely has some issues at the moment. HugsLib log attached of just a handful of issues that showed up immediately. Missing Gizmos, endless red errors having to do with the particle effects, etc.

I reached out to Frank (the original commissioner) on Discord, hopefully, we hear back about it. As far as I understand the Mod Market stuff Frank is in charge of the code now.

Funny enough, I've always used this thing exactly backwards from what the inspiration section suggests. I play with God-King ideology and I'll have the powerfully psionic leader of my colony never meditate and instead just sustain themselves off the psionic energy produced by their followers. It's all very God-Emperor of Mankind style.

soooooooooo..... stupid idea that i want to write somewhere.... doesn't necessarily pertain to this mod..... but might function similarly. heaters and coolers that are charged by psycasters meditating at them..... kinda like how you charge the psy-obelisk. just speaking to the wind.

I think this is costing me tps with VPE. A patch from this mod is taking a very large chunk of performance when I have pawns meditating, even just on anima trees. Something labelled PsyObelisk.Patches:Pawn_EntropyTracker

For some reason after some point I am no longer able to assign pawns to meditate and charge the obelisk, and when I unassign already assigned ones, they are just removed from the list entirely. Any reason for that?

This is one of my favourite psylink-related mods, but I have just one gripe - if I set up a throne for my psycaster king and the obelisk behind it, then not only can the rest of the throneroom not charge it up for him due to its limited range, but my king will also have to get off his throne to charge it himself.

Would it be possible to change that somehow? Link the throne and obelisk for example, so whenever the caster's meditating on it they also charge it? Or linking ritual seats/meditation spots so you can have your chapel slash throneroom slash grove or whatever your ideoligion demands charge it up while they go about their daily prayer?

Would you consider adding eltex from Vanilla Psycasts Expanded to the recipe in a patch? The value of 50 gold ($500) is equivalent to 3 pieces of eltex ($498).
