@capn_chryssalid:
Thanks! Glad you like the mod! Not quite sure what would be causing that crash honestly but at least it works on one of your machines. Hopefully when 4.0 releases, weird occurrences like that will be less common.
That said, the problems with the crashing at start remain. It seems to be Stellaris naturally using 100% CPU when it loads the files. It does this in vanilla, too, just very briefly. On my PC, it tends to stall about half the time causing an eventual BSD. I'm unsure how to fix this. It works reliably on my much smaller and weaker laptop, ironically enough.
A version of Amazing Space Battles is already a part of the mod.
@Coolmanzeno:
Are you using other mods with New Dawn?
@Militus Immortalis:
The Mandalorians have the most content aside from the Empire and Rebels currently
@fsheridan517:
Its available after doing Advanced Capital Ships.
Aka, test it yourself. Because no one else will test it for you.
No. They're on the map as pre-ftls but we have no interest or desire to turn them into a playable empire.
@i stole ur food stamps:
You need the Genetics tree unlocked.
Yes. And whatever the default version of the game is. Ignore the version warning.
I had my ships equipped with Mandalorian fighters and you could barely see them in combat.
-im been friendly peat 5 year
Yes, it supports Multiplayer.
Mod conflict unless you're trying to colonize stuff in the Unknown Regions. And if that's the case then its a mechanic to prevent the AI empires from going wild out there early on.
@Keter:
Your best bet is the shipsets by Superior General Delvardus. The Rebel and Imperial ones are slightly older versions of what we use in New Dawn since they're adapted from a pack made by Elratie.
Also the Vong and Mandalorian shipset Delvardus uploaded is from a different source than what we use in New Dawn. His Vong are from the Vong Invaders mod and ours are from the long-dead Yuuzhan Vong at War mod.
Yep. That just means you're using the current version of the game
@Cytosine:
Try choosing a different map size and see if that changes anything. And since you put some NVIDIA stuff on your laptop, try updating the drivers.
Ignore the warning in the launcher. It was a typo on my end for the version number. Just run it on the current version.
@Boogaboo, TraumaVFL, and keyfamily4:
Are any of you using the open beta version of the game? If so, that might be the problem.
not running any beta
I'll do that now, thank you for your time!
Okay looks like the version issue is on us. I misread something and had the mod pushed with the wrong version number.
As far as the leader issue goes, I have no clue what exactly is happening on your end. Can you make a bug report on our server and include a save?
Whereas my stellaris is running v3.14.1592653
The game is telling me New Dawn is out of date as its for v3.14.159265
Whereas my stellaris is running v3.14.1592653, rolling the game back doesn't work (as v3.14.159265 is available) so I'm a bit stuck
It sounds like a mod conflict. Are you using any other mods with New Dawn?
I don't have any dlc after necrophages. I remember playing fallen republic a while ago and would love to give this version a whirl
Yes. Its an intentional design choice.
@um-grote:
What version does it say? v3.14.159265 is the current version of the game so there is no need for any rollbacks. If you're using any add-ons, they might be out of date.
@Komandarm Knuckles:
Make a bug report on our discord server so we can actually diagnose it properly.
