@karolkrg Either use a ranged shield belt from another mod or change the tags to include humans with Rimsquol or similar.

Hi, I'm here on behalf of the AT discord server. There are currently efforts underway to update and rewrite the base mod Android Tiers and the functionality of this mod is planned to be integrated. Would we have permission to use assets and/or code from this mod for this endeavour?

I've added a new patch that includes some SOS2 compatibility. It makes SM7 and M8 mechs immune to space exposure since they can't wear EVA suits. Technically the vacuum exposure didn't harm them, but it made them look like they were constantly being injured and it interrupted their movement cycle really annoyingly.

T5 androids need the same treatment, but that's outside of the scope of this mod.

Another thing I'm planning to fix is that added limbs (High Power Legs and whatnot) only have the HP that they'd have on a standard android, while the M7s would have way more. This leads to the issue where a newly installed limb on an M7 would only have around 30 HP, where the original limb had well over 100. In a way, it makes some sense since you're installing a much smaller limb designed for a normal sized android onto a huge battlemech (it'd be like Baby Legs from Rick and Morty). I may just develop another tier of android parts specifically built for M7s to fix this.

Original mod author here. I'll look into the battery issue with the M7. I believe what's causing it is that when this mod was originally made, there technically was no M7 Surrogate (and I've changed the mod as that was added). Originally, the M7 was just a rare drop beacon that you could get through merchants/quests that would spawn one. The one it spawned couldn't be charged or repaired, so it basically had a countdown until it died. The finagling I did removed that, but somewhere the code was added to make it an actual surrogate you could build. I'll just need to dig into the code and see where I broke that and try to fix it.

Well the issue still disables this mod entirely as it disables the M7. And the mod author has not been active there at all. So that leads me back to here where it would be possible to solve the issue and give this mod a chance to be used.

Can confirm the issue is from the original mod and not this. Really a simple patch for the M7 to start in battery mode by default would solve it.

pretty much there is no hud option to switch to battery. Im unsure if its this mod directly or if the original mod just overlooked it.

@Geronimo The gizmos should work better on the shield. Apart from that I dont really know what you mean. Are you saying that the M7 can use the battery-option when this mod is not loaded but that option is not available when this mod is loaded?
I cant see anything in the code that would hide those options.

Oh its an item upgrade system for the M7 that is all this mod does. Add a gun and shield, easy. If you wanted to include a battery upgrade of some kind that could be installed. Then that would coincide with the intentions of this mod.

I dont believe it would be to difficult? Just some stat changes I would assume.

An even simpler solution be to turn battery mode on by default. That would be a great temp fix for the issue. Or even a right click on the robots directly to select either mode could work. Because there is nothing in game a person can do to avoid their robot just dying because the hud options are missing.

Seems this mod is an upgrade kit for the M7. Its possible this is either removing the battery option and/or could add a battery pack attachment. So these can be usable until its actually patched. The original mod author hasnt replied in awhile.

Finally got around to building a M7. Found out that the switch to battery and other android sky options are missing. So even though I had a M7 recharge pod. It ended up dying from a loss of power because it couldnt eat and I couldnt switch it to battery mode. Even if I told it to use the pod it said it was not in battery mode.

Once it died, the built in rotary cannon fell to the ground. I dont believe that is intended?

Hope to see these patched. Works great otherwise.

@geoffrey.lyon you say about M7 from quest? SM7 from this mod is not the same M7 from quest item. M7 from quest item is only 1 time use mech for given time. SM7 from this ADDON can be charged. THIS addon SM7 you need to craft on the table.

Shield is regenerating even when under heavy fire from 200pirates :/ can u fix it? it make them unkillable.

Couple confusing issues I found. Even though this is patched for CE the description still says to download the CE patch. Also in game the mod menu says Oversized weapons mod is required with no link to it.
