yes this will be updated in the future. However, since I'm still on 1.5 it may take a few days.
Basicially it tries to set the desired color of something which can't be colored.
I'll search for a way to prevent this. However my worklife is currently a bit taxing, it might take a while.

If a colonist is wearing an outfit which has a color assigned to it, he will automatically walk to the dying station and dye his outfit.
Please use this version at your own risk, although I did no change to the logic itself and kept the one working from 1.4.
Harmony has already been updated for 1.5, but this mod also needs/will need an update
Hopefully we get pretty colours for our pawns again
Sorry for not adding additional features the last few months, i have to challenge some irl problems.
Would be cool if we could pick the color of each layer for an outfit.
I need to think about it.
Depends on how the styling stations are modded.
I guess that it's unlikely, that there is a conflict, because the mod adds the "desire" to recolor the outfit to the pawn, and does not touch the styling station itself.
@Criz Yes, you can add a mod with more colors. I added a compatibility patch a while ago which expands the gui for the color selection with a scrollbar if neccessary.
I've seen stuff in the styling station code with babies which I ignored at the moment. And I'm not sure if this will cause some weird stuff or if it is fine. I think it's fine though.
It's a while ago since I did some modding for Rimworld and I need to get used to it again.
Thanks for the really interesting approach!
I thought multiple times about making coloring for individual pieces distinguishable, but came up with no good concept (because of the multiple layers etc).
Coloring the item on creation is definetly an interesting approach.
I am away this weekend but then I'll have some time to do some coding again. But first I wanted to create another mod which is missing in my opinion. AutoHunt, a simple icon next to the animal in the hunting tab, to automatically hunt certain animals as soon as they appear on the map.
After that i will take a look at your suggested approach, but when I implement it, it will be a new mod.
However it does require the RimWorld Ideology DLC, because the whole Dye mechanic is coming from it.
The button to set up the autodye is in the corresponding outfit menu. At the same place where you can set the filter.
The menu to move the button in the outfit menu is in the mod options.
