@Gemarus they show up for me,I think order matter for the beggars,till I put them all the way down in the load order most modded begger wouldn't appear,putting them all the way down and now they show up a lot (I've put each as a 15-20%)

This mod does not work, after raising the percentage to 52% and playing two races none appeared.

Yeah, I figured that out recently -- it's mod conflicts. Mods loading earlier than mine run a chance of breaking the beggar, and I'm sure there are mods that load after where this is the cause of another modder's headache. That's the cycle of life!
In brighter news it's pretty likely this will be fixed in the late June update. I've put a note in the description, thanks for the reminder.

Same issue as some other people where the beggar doesn't receive my money. I'll try pulling up the console in a bit and see if there are any specific errors.

Looked into this. Seems that mod has the same problem with the base-game Monster Manual, which is expected since the beggar does the exact same thing. The dev's aware of it, and when he fixes it the beggar's familiars should be fixed too. Probably. Nothing I can do about it in any case.

Looked into it -- unfortunately the problem isn't with either of our mods, but with the modding tools. Kilburn (the game's developer) is working on it so hopefully the next patch will fix things automatically. Until then our mods can't work together.

Ok there is the problem, I was using a mod that adds some Touhou franchise items, disabling this mod allows the Beggar to work fine, maybe some mods that adds items to the game have an error with the Beggar and doesn't allows it to receive pennies, sorry if my explanation is a bit lazy, my native languaje is spanish and I still having some troubles when I write in english :(

You're the third person to say this and I'm getting really concerned. I have no idea what's wrong; the code looks good and it works perfectly for me.
If anyone with the problem wants to help out, I'd love you if you could try disabling all other mods to see if it's a conflict issue.

(it was checking if ANYTHING was being exploded, not just the beggar, so was seeing that the explosion itself was exploding and cheerfully marked that down as good enough)

For some reason, this mod makes the first explosion on a floor to increase the devil deal chance. The origin of the explosion doesn't matter, it can be your bomb or a boom fly - anything.

Blowing up beggars (any beggars, not just harlots) doesn't further increase your devil chance anymore, so presumably this bug occurs because something in your code messed that up.

You should add some info about how they spawn to the description. Do they have a chance to replace normal beggars?
