Okay so at the current this mod breaks the Generals and staff. And also the new system of scientist in the special research tab and also in the day breaker path sending Sunrise Sparkle to take the Crystal Empire wont send her but it changes the Crystal Empire.
The only reason to take is if you dislike the amount of generals which I do but it breaks a little to much at the moment.

@GBThundall can you tell me the issue with Twilight? She's working fine on my end.
@Snow Ball I will update once I'm not overloaded with other things atm. Also I'm just keeping tabs to see if there will be any major updates from the Main Mod that might mess with Equestria.
@ledbullet1 no, I don't think it does.
Rainbow Dash Tyrannosaurus I kinda agree. Although I'm not sure how to make a character lose a trait mid game, I may remove it but I will decrease all trait values exponentially.

is it other mods I'm running or is it that all the generals are severely limited by the inexperienced trait. Is there a way to get rid of this? It doesn't make sense since you can't get rid of this trait through any number of experience that I've seen. Because a lot of the commanders are stuck at 16 units and thats really impractical

@Beakwood I think you misunderstand, the allowtraits command shows all traits but non-xp/backround/personality traits. I'm starting to think it's not this mod doing it as it affects vanilla HOI4 as well though

@Zora @COGunXSword @Aphextwin432 I made a late updated last night, hopefully the trait situation should be fixed. No, there is no base files edited, but it does have base files within to avoid issues with EaW.

Unrelated question but have you noticed that the "allowtraits" mod doesn't show all the traits anymore? Just the combat related ones. Is there a work around to this?

Just verified, both with several other mods running at the same time and also just the base EaW mod, but it seems this one is causing crashes during launch. Enabled/disabled until I found the issue. Used to work great and was one of my favorites, please update when possible.

It seems that this mod removes all the non-starting traits from generals, making it impossible for them to get any new ones? Going into "Show leader details" shows an almost completely empty grey area where the traits list should be.
I am playing with several other EaW submods, but turning off this one solved the issue. Is this a problem anyone else has encountered, or is it a compatibility issue with some other submod?

@Red_Baron That's a trigger I'm yet to work it out. So far I couldn't make it happen, the characters kept disappearing for some reason.

Is there a way to remove the inexperienced trait through levelling some of the leaders or some such, I fought and won the Great War with lots of these inexperienced generals, and seems like they would not be inexperienced any more. It would be nice to keep them for fluff reasons now I am restructuring the army

@Der Kaiser, useless if you plan to use them with lines, yes. I don't use lines but oh well. Not sure which events that interferes. I did many plays and never had any issues.

the idea is nice but it interferes with Generals that you get with Events and since you only have 8 army size for most of them the generals are, mostly, useless.

So, two questions: are we supposed to have all the new generals before we complete the 'new Generals' focus? Cause when i complete it and get the event, it get a wall of mostly blank general names that are added, And second, when i get the event to recruit sunset shimmer, she doesn't appear and thus she can't become prime minister if shes selected. it just stays as celestia.

@Silver, ah the lines. Which is why there is few that have more than the usual amount to cover the bigger lines. Yet, I don't have this issue cause I don't play with lines. Still, there's no reason these characters should be able to control that amount. Gameplay wise you can pick the ones that have 29 max amount of division. I can add a couple more, or increase a bit from 8 to 12 on few other characters. Some restrictions will be kept even so. I will look into allowing more divisions based on character ranks.

Ok... it doesn't change my point that reducing their division numbers for one reason or another renders them functionally useless. It allows for holes in your line and makes breakthroughs easier. It renders them worse than random default recruited tier 1 generals because they can still man a front effectively. The best they can do is function as defensive generals because that massively increases your division allowance making the impact of the debuff not as important... you know, because some generals can only have like 7-9 divisions in an offensive line.

@Silver Crescent Pretty much what Sayian said, I was even wondering about reducing some buff values, I'm still adding advisors and more Generals that will add another buffs, so I needed to find a way to not make it too easy.

@Silver Crescent Because if he just added in a bunch of normal generals without any drawbacks, it would be very overpowered. Most of the generals are basically just handed their rank and told to lead some soldiers. Just giving Equestria more generals would make the nation very powerful, so the new generals have to be given a major debuff to balance them out, especially since many of the new generals have unique skills that would make them objectively better than any other general if they didn't have the "inexperienced" debuff.

Why do almost all the general abilities render them unable to have a full army. It makes most of them really bad compared to normal generals who can actually man a front while it takes a half dozen of the ones from this mod to do the same.

Glad to see the mod getting updates! Something I've noticed: When the Lunar Civil War happens, Equestria keeps the Shadowbolt generals, despite how logically they would refuse to fight against their returned Empress, or even join the Lunar Empire and fight AGAINST Equestria. It's not a big deal, but it can be rather odd to see the leader of the Shadowbolts fighting against the Lunar Empire. Maybe have an event trigger at the beginning of the Lunar Civil War that removed the Shadowbolt generals from Equestria's general list, and possibly one that adds the Shadowbolts to the Lunar Empire's general list?

It does not crashes now. However, the mod is not working properly. Advisors, Leader portrait, and generals do not appear. I hope you can fix it ASAP. Great mod, can't wait to play it again.
