If you have error in social tab:
Grammar unresolvable. Root 'r_logentry'
you can disable same region restriction in speak up mod options it fixed social tab for me, not sure what causes this error yet.

Ticks between lines? what does it mean? I'm a new rimworld player and I play at 3 speed most of the time, increasing the tick it would be that it takes more time? I'm having trouble right now because they are speaking very often and is hard to read

I know this is not the real form of reporting but just wanted to bring up to your attention that I had an issue when using this with RimHUD and RimHUD did the thing where it deactivates itself, I had to clean the interactionlog entries in .rws and deactivate Speak Up for the time being so I could reactivate RimHUD, cleaning the Pawn memory with dev mod didnt help. I forgot to take the error log at the time but used VS and a little copilot help to check and it was indeed something that Speak Up wrote to the char log and if I tried to show it it would cause the error.

Sorry again for the confusing error report but I got nothing of the logs, hope its still useful somehow. Thanks again for the awesome mod!

I have not looked in a few weeks, but some of these issues could be caused by the 1.6 update we did being compiled against the earlier versions of 1.6 rimworld. If I get time this week I will check to see if that is the case

Sadly had to remove this mod cause it was really affecting performance for me. I was noticing a lot of stuttering so I pulled up Dubs Performance Analyzer and saw that speakup was the culprit.
Experiencing no stutters now. Shame, I really liked the added features.

so you won't be able to read what they say without knowing the language. ideally, the more your proficiency the more symbols displays correctly.

Apparently, animals talk between theirselves with this mod, getting a red error from this one.

Does this mod stop the logs? I can see all the interaction bubbles and conversations occuring but the logs for each Pawn are empty, even their actions.

I requested contact with Maux. If you know them directly, please warn them I'd like to start a conversation.
The interaction potential between our 2 mods is quite obvious, yet it'd need a large contribution by the community, because there'd be a huge amount of text to be written. So, yes, I'd like to try this but keep in mind that no singole human can make this happen, without communal help.

This mod is incompatible with Rational Romance. When romance dialog fails, it breaks the dialog, causing all lines to be "..." for a while, and causing the UI to break on the social tab, with significant lag.

Before they come in, I will be updating this for 1.6, it may take a little bit as I think some of the new performance methods could be used to make speakup faster.

@Jane Austen that would be a good idea, but maybe out of the scope of speakup

@SanDimas This can be safely ignored, but it could be a mod conflict or an issue with our interaction defs. I haven't seen this happen in my games with friends, without more information and logs I would not be able to fix this

Any chance you could look into adjusting the methods so that it'll be Zetriths Multiplayer safe? From what I understand is it's flagged as not safe because the host and client computers will come to different conclusions as to what the topic was about and trigger desyncs while the base dialog system does not do this.

I adore this mod. I wish there was some way to group up dialogues in the social log and/or make them go from old to new instead of having to read from bottom up. Sometimes I want to open the log and read what they've been talking about but the vanilla log makes it confusing.

The loop error happens when I open the "social" tab of a caravan. I analysed the logs with Deepseek, it said maybe the error happens in SpeakUp. May you help, dear bughunter?

@KRYTO_STALKER Unfortunately I don't mod rimworld that much anymore, and translating speakup has a lot of caveats that other mods don't. If you interested in translating it you can join the discord we have resources there
