@TobBirk cjbbailey57 is referring to a set of scenarios released over on Golden Age Developments.

Tob,
All I can say is that there’s no stranger creature than TS !!
But that’s exactly what the scenario editor required of me, it’s very puzzling isn’t it?!
All the best for now,
Chris
TobBirk  [author] Feb 24, 2023 @ 12:06pm
Hello Chris, this is absolutely strange because I do not own any of the three assets! :-D But I am happy to hear that you solved the miracle and can now enjoy route & scenarios. All the best, Tob
cjpbailey57 Feb 22, 2023 @ 2:23pm
Hello again Tob,
Sadly, the suggestions you made didn’t make any difference !

So, I set about finding exactly what rolling stock assets I needed to make things work properly.
What I discovered was that I needed 3 assets
1. Caledonia Works Grouping Van Pack 1
2. TS Market place GWR Collett Coach pack 01
3. Blast Pipe Productions /DT Mk1 Suburban Mega Coach pack.

This last asset, is only available from the Rail Advent website.
It is freeware, but requires the DT BR 4MT tank locomotive for the pack to work in TS. When installed, the coaches are hidden in the 4MT file and cannot be found by the scenario editor!
So as an experiment I copied the files from the coaches pack, renamed the file by inserting DT before the Mk1 Suburban Coaches title and pasted the renamed coaches file in the DT folder in the assets section of Railworks.

Hey presto! TS workshop scenario editor recognised the assets!
I’m now happy and really enjoying your scenarios.

Thanks again Tob, kind regards,
Chris

Hi Tob,
Thank you for giving this further thought, it's very much appreciated!
I'll give what you suggest a try.
Kind regards,
Chris
TobBirk  [author] Feb 20, 2023 @ 6:19am
Thank you very much, Chris! What might help:

- unsubscribe from the faulty scenario(s)
- delete the scenario(s) via TS scenario-editor
- delete the cache via TS options-menu and quit TS without restarting it
- check your installed assets via STEAM's properties
- and then re-subscribe to the scenario(s).

Hope this is helps....

Kind regards, Tob
cjpbailey57 Feb 19, 2023 @ 9:53pm
Ok thanks Tob. I’ll check and recheck the assets have installed correctly.
As you say TS can play tricks sometimes when loading scenarios!
Thanks again for this brilliant route 👍🏻 Chris
TobBirk  [author] Feb 19, 2023 @ 1:01pm
Thank you very much, David! Nice to hear from you. And yes - it was a HUGE labour of love. It's such a fantastic branch and now it just looks the way it should. :-) All the best, Tob

TobBirk  [author] Feb 19, 2023 @ 12:59pm
Hello cjpbaileys57, I wished I could help you on that...I didn't use any special stock. All the needed DLC is listed by me in the descriptions. Maybe some of the rolling stock on your PC is faulty. Possibilities for problems are really endless with TS, as it is such a huge and complex structure of files and databases. Maybe any other user has any idea...? All the best, Tob
cjpbailey57 Feb 18, 2023 @ 11:11pm
Hello again TobBirk, I’m still struggling a bit with the assets for some of the scenarios! Namely on this occasion, the coaching stock used with the Manor scenarios. For some reason TS keeps saying it can’t load rail vehicle!

Please can you help me, perhaps is there an asset requirement list for rolling stock that you have used? I’d be very grateful for your help.
I have both of the route requirements.

At the moment I’m running ‘quick drives’ on the branch, but I’d love to be able to run your scenarios.
The more I drive this branch line, the more detail is noticeable, it’s brilliant!

Thank you again for putting in so much time and hard work, kind regards, Chris
cjpbailey57 Feb 18, 2023 @ 8:08am
Hi TobBirk, I echo the others in saying that you've breathed new life into this classic little route; so, thank you for that!
I am however struggling a bit with figuring out what goods rolling stock you have used in your scenarios. Most come up with a prefix of CW, but I can't find anything that closely resembles ex-GWR stock on the Caledonia Works website! Could you help me please?
Many thanks.

This has become one of my favorite routes - again. The details are excellent. Much work put into enhancing this fine route is much appreciated.

Hi Tob! I recently became aware that you had produced this enhanced version of the old Falmouth Branch, and I was intrigued! I downloaded it and drove a Grange with five coaches over it on Quick Drive and I was very impressed! You have done a superb job on this --- it all runs very smoothly and it looks absolutely excellent! Thank you for all your long, hard labour in producing it, but I'm sure it was a labour of love! It's quite a long time since I drove anything of yours, but I'm delighted to discover this and see all the scenarios you've produced as well. I drove the first one this evening (Cornish Cattles); you'll see my comments there. Thanks again, and kind regards, David.
Not.Silent Aug 3, 2022 @ 9:30pm
Hi TobBirk. I have finally decided to have a good look at your 'creation', to start a collection on it. Well done. Excellent choice of yours to enhance this.
TobBirk  [author] Aug 1, 2022 @ 1:44am
Hello acidbottle, thank you for your kind feedback! What a nice story regarding your grandfather! :-D My rework started at Truro, just like you began it. Then I thought, ok, let's take a look at the other stations.... The result were several hundreds of hours of work. I offered the finalized route to Dovetail, but they thought that nobody would be interested in it. Missed chance IMHO. All the best, Tob
acidbottle Jul 7, 2022 @ 3:46am
Have not had a chance to look at this yet (just found it) but thank you so much for giving this route a much needed update. looks fantastic. Takes hours and even tried it myself once by trying to recreate the look of the old Chacewater station to Truro, never got too far, was tricky indeed.

If you ever go back and tweak anything Id love to see some old adverts on the large wall opposite Truro station, my grandad used to paint them by hand many years ago!

@alanh35:
Thank you very much for your kind feedback. I am really happy that the route gave you back sweet memories! I am always delighted, when virtual drivers share their memories with me / us, that's the best what can happen for a creator of historic content! All the best, TOb

@TheTrainMaster15:
Maybe someone will do this job one day. I've spent several hundreds of hours on this and I won't come back to it once more. :-)

@rosgar
Thank you very much!
rosgar May 1, 2022 @ 1:22pm
Just discovered this, an excellent rendition of this lovely branch line.
TheTrainMaster15 Apr 24, 2022 @ 10:14pm
while a very nice route, i think it may be worth having a once over with the smooth gradient track tool. the sharp drops is a bit of a trademark of outdated TS routes.
alanh35 Apr 23, 2022 @ 9:48am
I'm new to TS after 30 years flight simming. It's taken me a couple of weeks to find your work. Your enhanced Falmouth route is just mind-blowing, and really captures the essence of long summer days in Cornwall in the 1950s when I was a kid on holiday. Can't thank you enough - amazing work!
TobBirk  [author] Nov 6, 2021 @ 9:40am
You're welcome, obee1. Have fun! :-)
obee1 Oct 29, 2021 @ 9:18am
oh lol ignore me you just jump into a scenario and get cracking. On with the show ;)
obee1 Oct 29, 2021 @ 9:15am
Hey there, I'm keen to try the route but don't have the metropolitan line dlc which isn't needed anyway. However ts won't let me download and drive without it. Is there a way round this?, I feel I maybe missing something here, thx
TobBirk  [author] Sep 23, 2021 @ 2:29am
Thank you very much, Warwick Rail. All the best, Tob
Warwick Rail Aug 19, 2021 @ 10:38am
Here is a list of workshop scenarios for the route.

TobBirk  [author] Jun 11, 2021 @ 5:08am
TobBirk  [author] Jun 11, 2021 @ 1:52am
Hello chris, thank you for your kind feedback! Well, an LMS-branchline would be fantastic with all the beautiful LMS-stock available. At least the Weardale & Teesdale offers a lot of possibilities for LNER/LMS. Maybe I'll come back to it for more scenarios in the future. All the best, Tob
chris Jun 10, 2021 @ 5:19am
Only one word to describe the improvement for this route TobBirk - sensational. It is now a joy to run on it. Thank you for your efforts and for sharing. Personally just feel it is a slight shame that it is not a branch line in the North of England with LMS and/or LNER locos - Railfan knows how much it peeves me to drive those GWR steam loco thingys, particularly when I enjoy driving them.
TobBirk  [author] May 29, 2021 @ 10:58am
Thank you very much, wadawes. I'll do a re-release soon. Kind regards, Tob
wadawes May 29, 2021 @ 4:01am
Hi Tob, using TSTools the path I used to get the 4566 Black was as follows:
Assets\VictoryWorks\GWRSmallPrairiesPack\RailVehicles\Steam\4575\BR\Engine\BR4500Black.bin
Hope this helps.
Warren
TobBirk  [author] May 29, 2021 @ 2:15am
@wadawes: Thank you for your message. I just received to many messages that those two scenarios didn't work because of the 4566. I'll rework them for Pannier or an "official" Small Prairie and re-release them soon. Could you please tell me the exact name of the "official" black Small Prairie? Thank you in advance & all the best, Tob
TobBirk  [author] May 29, 2021 @ 2:13am
@Warwick Rail: Thank you very much for the investigation! I've removed the pack from the needed DLC-list. All the best, Tob
Warwick Rail May 28, 2021 @ 4:33am
@TobBirk The European Loco & Asset Pack is indeed included free with the Falmouth Branch. Here is the link to the DTG Knowledgebase article which confirms it.

wadawes May 28, 2021 @ 3:51am
I managed to get the two Small Prairie (Coals for the Gasworks) scenarios to run by using TSTools to swap the 4500 Black to my default 4500 Black in the Victory Works assetts. Nice scenarios (but looks like you have removed them now).
Great job with the Route enhancement.
Thanks Tob. Cheers, Warren.
TobBirk  [author] May 28, 2021 @ 3:13am
@Warwick Rail & Not.Silent: It seems that the European Loco & Asset Pack is not part of the original Falmouth Branchline. Today I remembered that I did activate the add-on in the route editor (it's named "Kuju Railsimulator Europe") to get access to several items that I've used.
Not.Silent May 28, 2021 @ 2:13am
Hi TobBirk. Well what a great idea updating this route - and publishing all the scenarios. I have never seen so many by one person for everyone to enjoy . Well done on both counts. Tremendous.
An interesting point from Warwick - to help people avoid wasting money, purchasing outside the 'Steam' environment. I've always wondered about this regarding the European Loco & Asset Pack, as I believe at some point in time, it wasn't automatically available, as advertised with some routes.
From now on, I will add in my DLC list after it (free with most routes if purchased via steam).
Warwick Rail May 27, 2021 @ 1:37pm
@TobBirk That is true if the purchase is made via Steam, but the asset pack is also available at varying prices on multiple platforms - aerosoft.com for example where it costs €11.76 or from DTG themselves where it costs $19.99. No such warnings there.
TobBirk  [author] May 27, 2021 @ 12:36pm
Hello Warwick Rail, thank you for your message. If you already own a DLC you see "In your library" and receive a warning, if you try to buy it. Cheers, Tob
TobBirk  [author] May 27, 2021 @ 12:34pm
@Kilealler: Gracias por las amables palabras! Saludos desde Alemania, TobBirk
Warwick Rail May 27, 2021 @ 11:00am
As far as I am aware, the European Loco & Asset Pack is already included with the Falmouth Branch Route Add-on. If this is so, perhaps it might be an idea to remove the loco pack as a stated requirement for this WS route in both your Description and Required DLC - as it is already covered by the Falmouth Branch route DLC. This might possibly prevent various people from needlessly buying something which they already own.
Kikealler May 27, 2021 @ 7:21am
Gracias por mejorar esta ruta. Ha quedado fantástica y sin problemas de juego. Mi más cordial enhorabuena por tu trabajo
TobBirk  [author] May 27, 2021 @ 3:05am
Hello Peter, I am glad to hear that! Let me guess: the two faulty scenarios for the Small Prairie are Coals for the gasworks 1 & 2? Other people are having problems with those as well. It seems it's an error which occurs under the SteamSoundsSupreme-soundpack. I'll release versions of those two scenarios making use of another locomotive (maybe the Pannier). All the best, Tob
shlghhar May 27, 2021 @ 2:27am
Hi Tob just to say i finally have managed to install the great route ok.but two of the scenarios using the small prairies will not load up even though i have them installed the rest are fine. Thanks Peter.
TobBirk  [author] May 27, 2021 @ 1:56am
Thank you very much, Peter! Kind regards, Tob
Peter 1949 May 26, 2021 @ 11:47pm
Thanks for the diesel scenarios superb as usual. Much appreciated TobBirk.
TobBirk  [author] May 26, 2021 @ 1:56pm
Hello Cyclone, thank you very much for your kind message! I appreciate it very much and am happy, that you're enjoying this enhanced route and its scenarios. I`ll do alternative versions for the 101 scenarios soon (making use of the 111 or 105). My best wishes to you, Tob
Cyclone May 26, 2021 @ 1:02pm
Holy cats! 26 scenarios on your page already. For anyone reading the comments for this, GO TO HIS WORKSHOP PAGE. NOW. There is a ton for this using Pannier Tanks, 2F Dock Tanks, 56XX, Small Prairies Locos...even the Western Hydraulics Pack and the Class 101. Though, for some of you, you'll have to swap out for the existing 101, but the Marleyman site has a file you can get for free that makes it look like the original one, so go get that for those scenarios.

Definitely get the Hydraulics pack during the sale. He uses it a lot. Also get the Class 07 (the one to replace the Phorum one), I saw a couple of those in there. Beauty. I am truly impressed and will have to add this to my route playing sooner rather than later.
