All I can say is that there’s no stranger creature than TS !!
But that’s exactly what the scenario editor required of me, it’s very puzzling isn’t it?!
All the best for now,
Chris
Sadly, the suggestions you made didn’t make any difference !
So, I set about finding exactly what rolling stock assets I needed to make things work properly.
What I discovered was that I needed 3 assets
1. Caledonia Works Grouping Van Pack 1
2. TS Market place GWR Collett Coach pack 01
3. Blast Pipe Productions /DT Mk1 Suburban Mega Coach pack.
This last asset, is only available from the Rail Advent website.
It is freeware, but requires the DT BR 4MT tank locomotive for the pack to work in TS. When installed, the coaches are hidden in the 4MT file and cannot be found by the scenario editor!
So as an experiment I copied the files from the coaches pack, renamed the file by inserting DT before the Mk1 Suburban Coaches title and pasted the renamed coaches file in the DT folder in the assets section of Railworks.
Hey presto! TS workshop scenario editor recognised the assets!
I’m now happy and really enjoying your scenarios.
Thanks again Tob, kind regards,
Chris
Thank you for giving this further thought, it's very much appreciated!
I'll give what you suggest a try.
Kind regards,
Chris
- unsubscribe from the faulty scenario(s)
- delete the scenario(s) via TS scenario-editor
- delete the cache via TS options-menu and quit TS without restarting it
- check your installed assets via STEAM's properties
- and then re-subscribe to the scenario(s).
Hope this is helps....
Kind regards, Tob
As you say TS can play tricks sometimes when loading scenarios!
Thanks again for this brilliant route 👍🏻 Chris
Please can you help me, perhaps is there an asset requirement list for rolling stock that you have used? I’d be very grateful for your help.
I have both of the route requirements.
At the moment I’m running ‘quick drives’ on the branch, but I’d love to be able to run your scenarios.
The more I drive this branch line, the more detail is noticeable, it’s brilliant!
Thank you again for putting in so much time and hard work, kind regards, Chris
I am however struggling a bit with figuring out what goods rolling stock you have used in your scenarios. Most come up with a prefix of CW, but I can't find anything that closely resembles ex-GWR stock on the Caledonia Works website! Could you help me please?
Many thanks.
If you ever go back and tweak anything Id love to see some old adverts on the large wall opposite Truro station, my grandad used to paint them by hand many years ago!
Thank you very much for your kind feedback. I am really happy that the route gave you back sweet memories! I am always delighted, when virtual drivers share their memories with me / us, that's the best what can happen for a creator of historic content! All the best, TOb
@TheTrainMaster15:
Maybe someone will do this job one day. I've spent several hundreds of hours on this and I won't come back to it once more. :-)
@rosgar
Thank you very much!
des Jahres 2021 bisher. Das ist Dir voll gelungen. Habe jetzt alle Deine Szenarien dazu
durchgespielt.

Hope this helps.

An interesting point from Warwick - to help people avoid wasting money, purchasing outside the 'Steam' environment. I've always wondered about this regarding the European Loco & Asset Pack, as I believe at some point in time, it wasn't automatically available, as advertised with some routes.
From now on, I will add in my DLC list after it (free with most routes if purchased via steam).
Definitely get the Hydraulics pack during the sale. He uses it a lot. Also get the Class 07 (the one to replace the Phorum one), I saw a couple of those in there. Beauty. I am truly impressed and will have to add this to my route playing sooner rather than later.
