All I can say is that there’s no stranger creature than TS !!
But that’s exactly what the scenario editor required of me, it’s very puzzling isn’t it?!
All the best for now,
Chris
Sadly, the suggestions you made didn’t make any difference !
So, I set about finding exactly what rolling stock assets I needed to make things work properly.
What I discovered was that I needed 3 assets
1. Caledonia Works Grouping Van Pack 1
2. TS Market place GWR Collett Coach pack 01
3. Blast Pipe Productions /DT Mk1 Suburban Mega Coach pack.
This last asset, is only available from the Rail Advent website.
It is freeware, but requires the DT BR 4MT tank locomotive for the pack to work in TS. When installed, the coaches are hidden in the 4MT file and cannot be found by the scenario editor!
So as an experiment I copied the files from the coaches pack, renamed the file by inserting DT before the Mk1 Suburban Coaches title and pasted the renamed coaches file in the DT folder in the assets section of Railworks.
Hey presto! TS workshop scenario editor recognised the assets!
I’m now happy and really enjoying your scenarios.
Thanks again Tob, kind regards,
Chris
Thank you for giving this further thought, it's very much appreciated!
I'll give what you suggest a try.
Kind regards,
Chris
- unsubscribe from the faulty scenario(s)
- delete the scenario(s) via TS scenario-editor
- delete the cache via TS options-menu and quit TS without restarting it
- check your installed assets via STEAM's properties
- and then re-subscribe to the scenario(s).
Hope this is helps....
Kind regards, Tob
As you say TS can play tricks sometimes when loading scenarios!
Thanks again for this brilliant route 👍🏻 Chris
