As someone who's not familiar with the apparent source material for this track, it's a really nice set piece course, but absolutely terrible to navigate. The beginning with the 4 doors is kind of confusing, as they just seem to be different flavors of setup to teleport to the city? Neat idea, but seeing as almost the entirety of the track is in the city, and never returns, this just feels odd.

Upon reaching the ground level of the city, the track goes from racing while dodging obstacles with some moderate navigation challenges, into what's seeming a free roam exploration to search for points of interest and eventually stumble upon the path that leads to the second city area and the goal. The buildings are so tall, and the roads so neat and identical, that it's very hard to get your bearings and even find a landmark to head for and investigate. Having those special locations up on top of the buildings is neat, but finding literally anything in the city is a real pain without somehow memorizing the general layout.

The traffic makes for a neat obstacle during the high speed sections, but it suffers from the roadways not handling great without grip thrusters when it angles down. Also the absolutely massive gaps in the forwards going traffic makes the road feel totally barren if you crash and wind up outside the traffic pattern. Particularly on the run across the big bridge to the second city area, it just drags on and gets rather boring with only the boost panels to provide any interest at all. And that doesn't really hold up the whole way there. I assume there can be traffic to avoid in that section, but I didn't see any the two separate times I crossed.

The ground level cross traffic is not fun to deal with. They move so fast you basically just get t-boned out of absolutely nowhere randomly when crossing an intersection. There's no reasonably way to avoid it without pulling off the road and stopping to look at every intersection. Thankfully the vehicles travelling that way are rare. Which also makes it all the more annoying when one finally does hit you.

The cutscene transitions are generally pretty cool. Particularly the big transport truck thing. I do like the exploration aspects, but overall navigation is difficult since it's hard to find a point of reference. It's also really unclear what the track is trying to be in terms of the type of challenge provided. Some really cool ideas, but can't say I enjoy it as a whole, sadly. I can tell a lot of work went into this.

2 bugs found. Went too fast through the blue door into the elevator room. Didn't trigger the elevator. Just crashed into the far wall.

2nd. Managed to blow up in the accelerator area after the blue elevator. Got sent back to the start. Returned to the blue door. Cutscene triggered, but the elevator was already up. It ended with me stuck in limbo in the lower part of the elevator room, kinda stuck floating around and unable to continue.

An interesting map with a lotta cool stuff to see, but it's also really confusing. I was unable to complete the track on my first attempt after getting lost in the city with no idea what I was even looking for. Also tried going into the green door first and seemed to end with a ramp that just dropped off into nothingness causing a restart. Just first impressions. Will try to figure this thing out to see what all is in here, cuz it looks like some cool stuff.

I do think that adding grip would be great, but it's extremely well done! Overwhelmingly the best metro realm; not even close

Beautiful map, the Hyperpod was very nice and I loved the sweeper challenge!

The roads weren't built for the grip-less speed sometimes. I frequently fell off the track because of it. Also it's really really hard to see turns coming due to the texture of the road. Kinda wish there were more lamps along the highways just so I had a better idea of when the turns start.

The final stretch with the boost pads were nice, but also completely void of cars which was a little bit of a shame. Also some roads just....stop? Not sure if it's intentional, but it kinda killed the immersion a bit to just run out of road above the city.

This is honestly pretty cool since it's the Metro Realm that is closest to looking like the Acceleracers film, but those roads really need to be smoothed out and would highly recommend some lamps or somethin to decorate the edge of the roads. Oh also double check your checkpoints, one of them spawned me in midair and the lack of thrusters made it a ridiculous effort to recover.
