I really like to have full inventory of empty mags.
Elite Rifle
10x off all mags for different rifles
shoot few rounds switch ammo
again shoot few rounds and switch ammo
I ended with elite ammo 4x mag.
Maybe this is why KEEN not make this vanilla.
Way too fast for norm modder.
Whiplash literally mentions that in the last paragraph...but that the old ammo cannot be crafted anymore.

3. It's actually not that unrealistic to require different magazines for different weapons, even when they use the same size cartridge. But, I agree it is a conceit that should be made for the sake of a game's playability that weapons that use the same size bullet should be able to interchange clips / magazines.
