I have a mod that branched off of this back in 2022.
It uses similar/the same artists, incorporating a few new songs and includes the same sounds that this mod uses. Its still being maintained today. Its pinned on my profile if you guys would like to check it out!

@Pedras1000 in the main menu steam mod screen. where all the mods are listed. there is a new drop down at the top called core packages. select the baro audio mod from there and its on. its a change several of us have disliked below.

Hey sorry, i love your mod but lately after an update the mod just dissapeared from my mod list, i re subbed but the it still not showing on the modlist, what can I do? i have alot of mods and yours i have been using since i love the reactor meltdown sound.

I really liked the new sounds, congratulations friend.. I just think the sounds of the doors are too long

Yeah this core package setup, basically makes it impossible for others to join an active MP lobby. Users have to connect with the core package already installed. Not very multiplayer friendly. Otherwise the sounds are great and I love the menu music.

I liked the older way of using the lua patch for this mod.

I enjoy the custom audio a lot, but there are a few things that make me a bit iffy.

Upon enabling the overhaul core package and messing around in the sub editor for sounds and stuff I come across a missing audio file for "PumpBroken.ogg". It's repeated plentiful of times and swamps the console.

Additionally spawning a Captain with a captain's pipe also has an issue, it gives the error "Matching item prefab not found", resulting in having no captain's pipe upon spawning.

Barotrauma Audio Overhaul must be selected in settings as a core package.
When starting the server, you need to select Lua.
These are different things and they do not intersect.

So, how to run it with Lua now?

Not a very good update. Just terrible!

The game crashes every time I attempt to start a eliminate pirates mission. If it's something on my end please let me know. If it's not, a fix would be appreciated.

Friends are also struggling to be able to connect and the package doesn't seem to even appear as an option for a core package sometimes.
