It's okay but half of the props disappear when the bone is out of view (not the root) so it's practically useless.

They do work. Just make sure the 'materials' and 'models' folders are in:
/game/hlvr_addons/your_addon_folder/*materials*

They're pre-compiled, so putting them in /content/ will show error models and won't work.

yeah, no idea why, but this ain't working. Only the .vmesh_c files seem to have any information when i open them in Source 2 Viewer, but i can't actually do anything with them in modeldoc or anything. the .vmdl_c files just come up as errors. :/

hmm when i downloaded the pack into s2fm it lagged, i have a rtx 3060 on my pc. so is this a problem in my pc or on s2fm?

When I get near your props they dissapear for some reason. Thats weird, because the ports I ported and the HL:A props doesnt, maybe im doing something wrong?

@Harry101UK , you should know that you CAN make these work for maps in Alyx, if you are ok to use high poly models and some sketchy techniques. I'm having some success with using these as static props by simply converting the imported models into meshes inside hammer. High poly collision, but its workable if you're making other aspects of your scenes light.

Kyle, these will import into your maps but wont be functional for more than background assets. They have no vis occlusion or collision. Ghost assets that NPC can see through.

Thanks for your reply. Learning as we go here. I've used invisible brushes that match the dimensions of the assets in my scene and its actually a passable/ usable way have having basic collisions work out in game.

Assets from this pack seem to have no physical properties in game. You can fall or walk through them. Is there something I've missed?

I have the assets installed and imported into Hammer, but the objects don't behave physically normal. My character can walk through them, enemies see through them. Did I skip something in the export/ import process to make the assets more "solid" or "Physical", or am I just missing a process within Hammer?

Question, can these be used as actual props for maps, or do they ever only work with SFM? I haven't dabbled too much with Custom Models in maps, so I'm not sure how these work
