Had no problems at all after changing .sii.
Its worked for the last six updates with no problems at all.

Go to Your Steam folder\steamapps\workshop\content\227300\2450871093\
open sii. file
replace version number with *.** as illustrated below.
compatible_versions[]: "*.**.*"
Works for anytime there is a change to game.
It works as I have also done this with no probs at all

You can find it on:
Your Steam folder\steamapps\workshop\content\227300\2450871093\
Add line: compatible_versions[]: "1.54.*" after compatible_versions[]: "1.53.*" and should work with latest version. I tested myself and works fine.
