I've done new banners for Kislev and Cathay, but real animated ones. I'd like to port this mod, but
- I want to do the regional recruitement for all races first, since I need regional units or regional banners are kind of useles
- I'm not sure if I just ort the existing banner with pseudo animation via wind effect, or go for real animated one. They look better, but are much longer to do.

Hey i am getting CTD when I am playing the battles in the campagin, I have no other mods, only using the SWO RD pack. Any ideas why??

It works if you use it properly... With SWO-RD, or if you use it as a resource and do some manual work to associated the banners with other mods.

probably. Regional recruitment requires a specific campaign map, the startpos (to add the resources to the region). If you have another mod also changing the campaign map, it's not possible to have them compatible. Other modding parts, like script or change in table, could work together (they may have conflict, but it could be solved). Startpos changes cannot be made compatible, as the game can only load one startpos.

Yes i use all the required mods but yes i have different mods for hero and lord like mixu's. You think it's because i have a not compatible mod with ?

Hi first your mod is amazing and i love it. I just have a little problem i don't have region troops in campaign and no banners too because i can't recruit the good regiment ( sorry, my english is bad )

In general I support a community approach to modding. If someone as already done something, no need to redo it. Reuse it; As long as you say who did it and don't try to make it pass for your own (generally speaking, not directed at you), and this applies to all my modding works.

Well the clearify part was not really ment as "Can you clerifay what proper credit is" but more in a way you gave me the permission for your main mod but not actually for the submod but anyways...

I already asked for your main high elve ressources and you said as long as I give proper credits you are cool with it - thats why I ask for this mod too to be fully sure.
Working on new projects or reworking older ones and I want to clarify things before I start using non self created parts - that said, the question is:
Do you allow me to use some of your models/textures for my own mods?

Be careful however: the game engine doesn't allow having an officer depending on the faction. So you cannot have the banner change with the faction of the unit. That's why I didn't make a vanilla version of this mod. You have 3 options:
- you can make several copies of the units, and make it faction specific, or region specific (which is the base of SWO-RD), so each one can have its own banner.
- you can use a generic looking banner, see the Battle Standard mod from HN: specific banner are used only for some units like RoR, Swordsmasters, Phoenix Guard, etc
- or just use vanilla but select ONE banner for each unit.

The mod is the banner pack for SWO-RD. It doesn't add banenrs to vanilla units .Play with SWO-RD, or use it as a resource pack to make your own.

this might simply be a restart and an unfortunate bug. i was also able to recruit all regiments of renown at the start of the game too

i mean i cant recruit any units at all, the caps disappeared by about turn 20 and when the shrine of asuryan finished i could recruit the phoenix guard but nothing else

I just tried, I can recruit Phoenix Guard, Flame and Frost Phoenixes from the Shrine of Assuryan. When you say you can't, do you mean they don't appear? You don't have capacity?

i tried that and did not work. however, over the end turn the shrine of asuryan finished building to level 3 and that gave me the option to recruit phoenix guards, but not the phoenix.

maybe try to destroy the shrine of Khaine or abandon it and move one turn forward, it may repair it and confirm ti comes from that.

i had also just taken Ss'ildar tor when i realised the unit caps were gone, but this could of been the same turn as the shrine if Khaine had built

playing as Eataine, i noticed it not long after taking and building the shrine of Khaine. which i believed was broken as it was saying i could upgrade it but i could not, it was stuck at level one.

This is independant
if this happen, it makes your script broke. Usually because you just built or capture a landmark or building in a region you didn't have before. So what faction did you play, and did you built or capture something recently?

this may be a result of the update, but my unit cap modifiers at the top of the screen and i can no longer recruit any units, as it thinks i have no caps. unsure what triggered this.
this was a campaign i started before the most recent update, but i was able to recruit normally after but unsure when it actually happened.
think it went after i fought a battle as that is when it disappeared but not certain

that was very fast, thank you. i have been loving the mod (ignoring a failed karak kadrin). this combined with a closer to tabletop faction flags and names really makes it immersive.

fixed. The actual correction is in the High Elves resource pack (issue with the banner bearer, not the banner).

high elf Eataine Spears, the actual Phoenix flag is on the ground rather than being held by the unit. only affects that unit, great mod otherwise

Becasue vanilla doesn't allow it... Unless CA change something with WH3, it is not possible to have a banner that would have an heraldry changing with the faction. It could only be a generic flag, flavourless, and if it uses faction colouring it can't have the wind effect I have and would be still.
