Because that's how the current Black Mesa workshop system works, however Crowbar Collective is looking at the possibility of making BM:BS a "one-click mod" instead of the current convoluted installation process
Blame Black Mesa's lackluster workshop integration system
HOOOOLY
W mod
YIPE :D
2. Which brings me to my second point that they have a couple of battles in one area. Which usually isn’t bad, but here you run out of armor and heath so fast you can’t beat them in 1 or 3 tries. Like the one in the freight yard, 3 rounds of enimies.
3. The puzzles. Sometimes they’re fine. But sometimes it’s just such a stupid solution. Take the one in the canal for example. I was stuck on it for hours not knowing I had to back track to another area. And have to make a massive circle.
Don’t get me wrong the mod is fine, but thats it, fine.
4.5/10
Large parts of the game feel clumsy, often its not clear what to do to continue. Sure, it's nice to use your brain and combine things from the environment to go on, but often it just feels like bad level design / game flow design.
Zen felt also way too long (like late Black Mesa unfortunately too) and the game felt more like Serious Sam. Thank you @devs for all your efforts, but it would be nice if you could give it another overhauling here and there to bring it to the next level!
This is incredible what yous have done!! Thankyou
End in progress.
Tried to launch the bat as administrator but it didn't work.
Game folder already moved to the direct place.
Just cannot launch.
