could you make a patch for FU? it works fine nut it annoys me that theres duplicate teleporters, and the ones from frackin look kinda lame

I never got around to a lot of bounty hunting, but this bout of playing, I was planning on it. I assumed that OBVIOUSLY they'd eventually add teleporters, right?

Man, I'm sure glad I saw your mod before I found out that for some god forsaken reason, that isnt' the case.

I didn't know the mod, the decision to have the teleporter from station 3 onwards seems very wise to me, 1 and 2 are in a sad station on an asteroid, with a broken bed, water leaks... a teleporter is something advanced that costs money, and Captain Noble doesn't even have money to change his underwear, by god, a teleporter doesn't fit in there xD

Thanks for this, it's quite annoying to have to keep changing systems to get back to the station every so often xD

Story-wise, because that early they wouldn't have the funds for it.

Otherwise, because I personally believe you should have to experience it as it was meant for a while before the teleporters become available. Progression.

Yes. The layout for a station is not generated until you actually attempt to dock for the first time, so sub any time before that and you're good.

if i sub to this mod while my station is under level 3 will it work as if its a new save file?

That would require dungeon adjustments that ate not possible with the way most of the mission dungeons are stored (as PNG images rather than Tiled-generated JSON) that would require the missions to be completely rebuilt from the ground up and would require rewriting numerous scripts that are beyond my ability.

Question do you think its possible to also do this but with mission re-spawn pads (idk their actual name)
Because dying in a mission that took me a few minutes to load is not fun (like atleast the ones before the boss help a bit)
Dou one concern is what would happen to the player if he steps on the one before the boss, would the new one deactivate? will the player be warped to the before the boss or warped to the start?

The 5 file is the tier 5 station. After deleting the file and visiting the tier 5 station, the station is recreated. If you're visiting a previous station, then you're visiting a previous station rather than the final station.

uh I did it again and this time it brought me to rank three and in the files its called "unique-spacestation_peacekeeper5" where tier five would be and I dunno if I am doing something wrong of if you are doing something wrong

I did the deleting thing and it digressed me back to the one before the final one which I am in the final station before I did that

i see someone else had the same idea
i mean it takes like 30 seconds to disable tile protection and do this myself but hey its 30 seconds i don't have to waste doing it myself :steamthumbsup:

To be perfectly honest, I hadn't searched the workshop before release. I had intended to work on this back in 2019, but burnout had set in pretty bad. Sorry for the overstep.

The real question, at least for me, is why the quests don't just autocomplete as soon as you complete the objective. We're in scifi world and you're telling me remote communication hasn't been invented yet? lmao

Awww man... finally. Why the heck didn't they put this in the game if everything was use-ready? Great work man. I'm still testing it out, and so far it all works very nicely.

thank you so much for this mod traveling all over random systems was irritating when hunting bounties and then having to travel back to the station was also annoying having a teleporter to get there makes it much easier
