Just want to give a shoutout to the creators of this mod. Fantastic work! Blow-your-mind excellent scripting and macros. Obviously a ton of effort has gone into the production. My friends and I are pretty good at troubleshooting any issues at this point, so it's been smooth sailing. Thank you to all who have put effort into this project.

ugh, keeps getting stuck in assign hits and then your game is over....so disappointing as the scripting is amazing when it works.

Hello, how can I set it up as a single player to play against myself?

Also, does it use the advanced rules for limiting your dice per the different types of units?

I agree with Shachar below. We had a go on War Room - and oboy, the scripting and visuals are impressive! - but we got stuck on a scripting error in the first battle, that we couldn't find a way around, that made it impossible to continue the game. With a manual override, this could be managed - without, it is far too risky to sink several game nights into this with the possible prospect of a blocking error close mid- or end-game.

The scripting for the mod is very impressive, but sometimes brittle. It would be greatly helpful if a an emergency button or command was added to force the script to skip to the next sub-phase then continue running. That would allow the players to manually create the correct gamestate in case of a script error without getting stuck on a script prompt that can never be satisfied. Without such a feature, I don't think I can convince my playgroup to play this again. With such a feature, this mod would be much faster and more efficient than an IRL game!

Another bug seems to be when you purchase an artillery with the chinese without having a factory. You can purchase the unit but can't place it in the placement phase, game cannot progress.

Thanks! I already tried that however, if i add the command token it won't see it as a command stack and thus the 'submarine dive' command doesn't come up in the right-click menu. The scripting won't progress after this phase, is there a way to force an end of the phase?

I'm having trouble with relocating 2 submarines after a battle. The submarines have lost their command token and therefore there is no way to perfrom the 'dive command'. Is there a way to retrieve the command token for the subs?

Great mod, but we encounter game breaking bugs every once in a while. Recent bug was the inability to put in any production order for any country (and no ready button either). This was about turn 6, so well into the game. Even loaded a save from the beginning of the combat phase and still no luck getting the script to permit production. Again, great mod, but be prepared for frustration at times.

@Beer I dont think there is any need for update. The only rule not implemented in 2.0 is 30 cap on strategic bombing

Hi guys. I must not know what i am doing and maybe someone here can help me. I added War Room (and other games) (by subscribing) but I cannot for the life of me find out where I can click to PLAY them. Many say "workshop". Do I have to "buy" them is some way ... but I cannot even find where to do that. I DO have a steam account and have bought games there before. I have Tabletop Sim and bought there before. Sorry. But if someone can assist me. Thanks! (i put this on Discord as well)

I'm stuck on Phase 7 - Transfer new units to industries. All countries worked except one, and I'm not able to progress forward. Is there any way to force the scripting to advance to the next step with the current board state?

I have encountered a bug. When you buy units you have the option to buy civ goods. However when you are placing down your newly bought units the game wants you to do the same with the civ goods. The problem is that if you buy civ goods from the chart the game will be unplayable and you can't proceed with the game due to the phase not chaning eventough you have placed all your units on the map correctl. Plz fix this beacause the game will not be playable due to you not being able to change phase due to the cig goods

What should I do at the "Apply penalties: mass desertions" stage? I'm not sure it's a script issue or just I'm misunderstanding the rules.

@grandpa_Sam yeah, you can get out of sync that way. The best way to combat that is to just be good at save scrumming before and after the movement phase and combat phase.... As well as any other times that make sense.

I love this mod so far but right now Its too easy for a player to click the wrong button or place a unit in the wrong spot and the whole game grinds to a halt. We have not been able to play through a whole game

I found a major bug, around round 4 of the North Africa scenario a german air force hit one of my naval stacks killing a cruiser and forcing a sub to retreat. The problem is the sub was on A-17 and the game want's us to I think resolve a naval raid that can't happen and i can't move the sub because there's an unresolved raid so the game is totally dead locked. I think it was because the sub thing doesn't play nice with raids.

@Charlie thanks for the tip. As you mentioned hotseat mode uses the TTS turn system, which is not currently utilized in this mod. Hotseat is actually completely unnecessary, because you can just change your player color. Players on the opposing alliance will not be able to see any orders written until they are revealed during movement/production.

So, for the Eastern Front scenario, as the white player you can just write orders as Germany and then switch to the red player. Germany's orders will no longer be visible once you are sitting in the red player's seat. During the other phases of the game, you should change to the black player (game master) so that you can interact with all the components.

Re: OP above. The way I found to handle this issue is time intensive but worked for me. After completing one side's order writing (or the unit production stage) switch to the other player and save the game at that point. Load up the new save, write the other side's orders, and hit all the ready buttons and you should be okay to proceed. TTS does not really support hotseat simultaneous hidden orders and such.

Also, in many cases just saving and reloading can resolve a stuck script. I can't guarantee this will fix everything but it works pretty often.

Thanks for all the feedback folks, I can attest that lots of people are successfully playing full games so as long as you play nice the scripts will behave :-) This is not like a typical TTS mod where you can copy/paste/delete stuff at random, or you will almost certainly break the script.

If you click the little blue question mark in the upper left corner of the status display, you can view help text for pretty much every phase and step in the game. This should help you avoid accidentally doing stuff that breaks the script.

Also, clicking the log button just below that will send debug messages to the console, which help greatly when reporting bugs so I can try and fix what's broken.

The scripts are briliant but they get stuck all too often. The UI needs a "killswitch" button that immedietly skips the next expected "move" so that the bugged action can be performed manually and the game proceed properly.

Hey, I 'must doing something wrong. I don't know how to write or confirm or submit orders. any help would be appreciated. in other words, I get to the secret orders and can't move on. also, how do you pick teams?

At first i really liked it and the scripting is great when it works.
But it is very rigid so every little hickup results in a deadlock and the game cant go on without some indepth tinkering with the objects or even the script.

After two situations we could resolve, the got stuck in a battle, the game wanted us to assign hits but there were no targets left.
It is not possible to just roll the battle manually, so we sadly abandonded our hour-long game and this mod.

completely froze up after doing turn order. Refuses to move to next round even after turn order is locked. Refuses to change Japan's production into a command. Units produced on round 1 are still sitting there on round 5 with a production token on them.

I encountered a bug. In the Pacifik war szenario when china collapses the Skript stops working. In the Production Phase when the game sends the message china has collapsed, 2 skript error occur and the produktion phase cant end. Is there a possible workaround?
