Some people are heroes and work hard building billions of $$ in hardware to save the universe. I saved the universe by installing this MOD. I'm an adult and I didn't have time for that.

Why on earth anyone needs this since pretty much every faction stomps and steamroll Xenon all the time.

Hey dear modder, how hard would it be to release a mod like this, except for Xenon stations. I can melt a Xenon destroyer in seconds (no mod), but with the same firepower it takes forever to destroy a Xenon station. A 50% (or even 75%) nerf feels about right.

The values on this are half vanilla. VRO increases vanilla values so this actually heavily nerfs xenon in VRO. Think I may have to make an edited version to align better with VRO.

I used this mod together with the one called Xenon Outcasts, dramatically improived the factions ability to get agrip on the sectors. I removed this one after I saw that alot of xen sectrs was taken. Massive thanks for a much needed mod.

@cetegus, it works with VRO, it was intended for it in the first place.
But be aware the Xenons will now be really easy to destroy.

it is necessary to make not -50% of the shields and the hull, but a minus to the damage from cannons and turrets. This is very strange and stupid, because their weapons are based on commonwealth technologies, the same blasters and gamma guns, but for some reason their damage is one and a half, or even twice as high

I'd love a mod that simply adjusted the resource values the Xenon use for ship building. 50% shield/hull nerf isn't needed; +50% construction costs might be a better way to go :nahclown:

The problem with the xenon is not the life points. But your absolutely overpowered graviton guns.
But can Anyone update the mod or maybe remake it with better parameters?
I also think that 50% is too much of a nerf.
25% would be better for balance

Is it possible to get a 25% nerf? 50% is kinda OP after a little while and that is with increased xenon fleet sizes to try to compensate. Or how would you edit the file to make it 25 over 50?

wenns halt einfach mal ne mod gäbe der wie auch immer das xenon I aus dem spiel verbannt..... 4. spielneustart und knapp 40std spielzeit.... die xenon reiten an 4 fronten manchmal sogar mit bis zu 3 I schiffen pro welle ein und vernichten langsam aber stetig alle völker.... wenn man bis zu diesem zeitpunkt nicht nen paar zb asgards als ''torwächter'' hat, kann man nur demoralisiert zuschauen -_- heyyy modentwickler :)..... kann man nich irgendwiedas I ausradieren....oder die produktion dieser dinger halt kaputt machen etc ???? das wäre mal nen gefallen für alle genervten spieler.... die greifen ja sonst zumindest bei mir im vorgeschrittenen spiel arg genug an mit k und V etc....

I think 50% is a bit too much, so I changed the values in the .dat file myself. Hopefully this is enough to not nerf them all that much but still make them a threat.

You can offer 3 different versions for the xenon nerve:

1x 5%,
1x 10% and
1x 15%

With me (no! VRO) the Xenon have nothing to laugh about,
the peoples almost overrun the Xenon and quickly captured most of its sectors.
With 50% weakness in the vanilla, the xenon are unfortunately no longer a real danger to the colonies.

Bei mir (kein! VRO) haben die Xenon nix zu lachen,
die Völker haben die Xenon fast überrannt und deren meisten Sektoren schnell eingenommen.
Die Xenon sind bei 50% Schwäche in der Vanille leider keine echte Gefahr mehr für die Völker.

In the first version of my mod only the K & I were changed, in this version all Xenon ships are nerfed.

I didn't test it with VRO, but it should overwrite VRO's value's.

Though, if I can make a suggestion, in the previous version of the game (I'm playing vanilla with 4.0), the I died really quick compared to the other capitals. (with VRO)

So I don't know if it's because only the I had is health actually modified or if there was an error in their nerf.

@ Kackstift[GER] Maybe in vanilla, but with VRo+Faction enhancer, the xenon difficulty is just plain stupid.
It takes a small fleet to kill a single K, and they send waves after waves after waves of capitals, while the AI factions are barely managing to even build a fleet in the first time.

I had a wave completely levelling Family TKr, they arrived with 2 I and 5 K, the stations in the sectors were destroyed as butter in the sun.

I am around 50 hours in this playthrough and still haven't been able to build either a decent commercial fleet, a military one, or industrial stations because xenons wreak them before they begin to bring in money.

Most of the money I have right now comes from inventory selling...

To confirm - Running with Faction Enhancer + VRO - Class I was brought down significantly (Hull: 2,650K to 170K) After running SETA overnight on a new save Hatkivahs was not overrun!

Thanks, much needed, in my current playthrough, they are relentless and nobody is building fleets to defend their sectors, and since they completely anihinlate my merchant fleets, I can't build one either.

I will finally be able to put an end to frustration simulator.

Is there a version for the Kha'ak? They're more of an annoyance in my current game than the Xenon.
