Apologies, but I'm not sure why it's been working for me, just has, even though the version numbers change, the stats keep working the way this mod is supposed to make them work. At least that's been my experience. Because some of the mods I use get up to over 2000% armor value. so I know it works because those still show as being that value whether on or off a colonist.

Works with my weapons too for both melee and ranged, ranged usually get a range boost over the 100% value don't really remember if that's a vanilla thing or not.

this mod is the source of some of the funniest items ive ever had i once had a piece of clothing with 2700 flammability (courtesy of using nezi's avali mod for a run)

hey can you please update this mod to 1.4? i wouldn't want to not be able to use this mod anymore since this is the best armor uncapper out there. oh and don't forget to fix the issue with shields that cause defenses to go out of whack. the ones i'm talking about are the ones from the Vanilla Expanded mods like the vikings mod and the unofficial one that uses the framework.

To anyone getting the patch errors try loading Armor & UI Uncapper early like just after hugslib. Seems to fix the issues and the patches seem to still work.

I use this mod with Vanilla Pirate Expanded. When wearing its warcaskets(200 armor points) with body's base armor point numbers(less than 50 point) , it shows a crazy number of more than 2000 points, and actually it works as the number shows —— no damage at all.

hello!i have seen the messages left in v1.2, i think the error i met is exactly the shield incompatible, now it comes out once again, so it may not a hard problem for you to fix it. hope you can have free time to get online to do this, and thanks for your work.

Error in static constructor of ArmorUIUncapper.ArmorUIUncapper...


Steps to reproduce:

1) A mod list of Harmony, Core, Royalty, Ideology, HugsLib, VEF, and Armor & UI Uncapper

2) Launch the game, and when the Main Menu appears the red error occurs

3) If either VEF or Armor & UI Uncapper are removed, the error goes away, and the error only occurs with both mods loaded


Please know I also tried unistalling the game, manually deleting all mods and game folders, and redownloading everything to avoid coruptions. I'd love to help, so let me know if I can do anything.

Hello and thank you for the great mod! It has been great in the past when I played on 1.2 It seems that right now my pawns are getting capped at 183% sharp resistance and capped at other weird number. Does anyone or the author know why this could be happening? Any help is appreciated!

why did you make it only 1.3? you should of just left the support version for 1.2 since there was no reason to remove support for 1.2. some people like me still use 1.2 you know. also that out of wack defense is back again.

anything near 300% or higher is just immunity from damage til the armor degrades to 0 hp, its boring running that , tried it with a mod in the past.

and if you let armor pen get crazy high its just arms race of numbers that scale high. Better to leave it simple as, bonded acc, and other types of caps help keep a game balanced.

Version 1.1.3.0 just released and fixed the issue of compatibility patches not applying when using local copies with different packageids (i.e. created by Fluffy's Mod Manager).

This mod removes the cap *AND* allows the UI to show values higher than 200%, whilst NoArmorPointCap removes the actual cap but leaves the overall armor UI capping at 200%.

So, this mod works like NAPC, with the added (pretty cool) bonus of allowing the UI to show values higher than 200% when checking a pawn's "Gear" tab.

While using the NAPC will do basically the same but won't cap the UI at 200% or.. it's the contrary?

Just updated the mod to version 1.1 and added, among some lesser stuff, compatibility with Vanilla Expanded Framework.

As such, the infamous 10000%+ overall armor bug should be fixed for most (if not all) of you.

I tested it and got the same issue, it's just the UI though, actual armor values seem fine.
I'll be working on it, though. I should patch it soon enough.

This isn't needed with CE anyway as CE doesn't use armor values at all, it has a deflection/penetration system for projectiles.

Hey! Yayo's Combat and Thick Armor work properly with this mod with no redundant or incompatible features. In fact, I run all three together.
Neither of these mods provide the same features as Armor & UI Uncapper. :)

Edit: Yayo's and Thick Armor change how armor works in some way, whilst A&UI only changes the UI cap and the apparel cap.
