Hey so quick question, I was trying to add a ability to the weapons but I dont seem to be inputting the right term for the weapon category specifically. What are the category names for the chimera weapons?

Looks really great. But how do I edit the stats? I want to add some mobility and maybe some aim to the SMG at the cost of damage and ammo. I managed to change the dmg and ammo but can't figure out how to add aim and mobility.

Probably, this mod wouldn't have 5 tiers of weapons, only 3 for the base three weapon tiers.

I have a buncha mods installed but I'm fairly certain this is the only weapon related one-- My templar's gun has disappeared and he holds it like a rifle.

@FreeHK These are all the weapons that were in CS iirc. Making cannon and sniper variants would have to be done from scratch.

I actually deleted your topic and put up my own google drive link to the high res texture version with the updated SFX changes, since i didn't think you'd be so quick to update the package on your end, so props to you for that.

Well, i also went and attempted to better balance the gun fire audio along with fixing the shotgun SFX this update, so that should be good now.

No what I meant was the CS shotgun was almost silent, and the pistol was also extremely quiet. Upping volume on speakers so that they sounded similar to vanilla weapons at normal volume levels made the other non CS weapons deafening as a result.

I don't know what you mean by the weapons being 'deafining', they sound fine to me on my end. They sound kind of quiet compared to the Vanilla guns, even. From your comment, you're implying you're adjusting the sound volume on the guns on your own end for some reason? The Shotgun IS mute though, for whatever reason. I'm gonna fix that right now.

Edit: Shotgun's fixed, i think the Projectile Archetype was screwing with it.

Getting almost zero firing sounds on the shotgun even after yesterdays ish update. Pistol also now seems much quieter in comparison to other weapons that becoming deafening when adjusting the CS weapons to a standard noise level.

I'm really happy someone is finally backporting CS content, and everything you've put out so far has been top notch. Any possibility of the Shrike Bruiser's riot shield being ported for the Ballistic Shields mod?

Axiom's shotgun is literally it's own model.

It has the same name and stats to the normal Chimera Squad shotgun but it looks different as well as being way oversized if you give it to anyone else besides Axiom.

He actually uses a normal-sized shotgun from what i can tell. It's just that you don't notice the gun's size that much on Godmother, and Claymore's a pretty big human. Plus, you know, shotgun. They're beefy weapons to begin with in XCOM.

It does, but the Muton shotgun that Axiom uses would look ridiculous when used by a human, or anything smaller than a Spark.

The templates are ChimeraPistol_XX, ChimeraRifle_XX, ChimeraShotgun_XX, and ChimeraSMG_XX. Substitute the XXs for the three weapon tiers; CV, MG, and BM for tiers 1, 2, and 3.

What are the weapon template names? I am trying to set up my game to use them as skins in XSkin but I seem to be doing something wrong as they don´t show up, which usually means I am calling the wrong template.
