same for me, have lon war of the chosen installed, but these arent showing up in your x skin mod

Same here. I have installed the Long War Laser Pack - WotC (unofficial), Coilguns for War of the Chosen, Long War 2 SMG Pack (unofficial), and SPARK Arsenal mods, but the newly added weapons absolutely, positively, do not show up in the weapon selection UI whatsoever.

Any assistance with this issue would be appreciated.

Yes although couldn't test the LW2 sawnoff as not running anything for it. Could check with category and such toggled off however.

Needed to install the Spark Armoury mod and dependency for the Superlaser firing animation but apart from that XSkin helps solve the issue of the actual weapons not showing which is fine as the XSkin option is more ideal.

@Iridar Still no idea how to get the actual stat versions to appear in game however your resurrection of the XSkin mod that's been missing from the game for aaages does mean I can overlay these onto existing weapons. A massive thank you for that mod alone in addition to likely providing a workaround for whatever issue I've been experiencing with things.

To be clear, new weapons will be added to this mod one by one. This will take at least weeks, if not months. I wouldn't hold any horse on that account.

I didn't realise the coil variants were that close to release, that being the case I'll wait for those to be added before setting up my weaponsets for my new play through.

This mod doesn't add any coil variants anyway, but when it does - which should happen in the next few days - you will need both laser and coil mods. But they are used only as sources of materials, so it's not like your game will crash if you don't have them. The coil weapons would just be left without textures.

If I only want the laser variants, would I only need Long War Laser Pack - WotC (unofficial)? (or Coilguns for War of the Chosen if i only wanted coil variants)?

Still not getting this to work.

Still getting none of these to show up.

Have tried existing campaigns and new ones and neither have the new skins show.

The Artillery Cannon seems to be misnamed in the content. Because it doesn't change when I use the WSR to overwright IRI_ArtilleryCannon_CV with IRI_ArtilleryCannon_LS.

You have to download both of Iridar's skinreplacer mods. You also need Notepad++ to edit the files.
Since I have it replace the magnetic autopistol it looks like this:

@Zoinho1: in fairness, a lot of RL SMGs do bear a close resemblance to rifles made by the same manufacturers. Hell, in some cases, they're nearly interchangeable, like the FN P90 line.

Is this project only to missing weapon variants or do you gonna tweak some of the existence weapons? Like the coil SMG, she look way too similar to the coil rifle.

IMO the Laser Autopistol needs a better projectile animation. So I used WSR to replace it with the Laser SMG's.

What order do you plan on making the weapons? Circling through auto-pistol, vektor rifle, bullpup, heavy autocannon, then your custom SPARK weapons, or are your weapons coming after all the others?

My mod relies on laser weapon research added by the "Long War Laser Pack - WotC (unofficial)" mod. I don't know how WTO works, but with or without it, you need a mod that adds laser weapon research by that name, and then you have to complete that research before the new laser weapons will appear in Engineering.

Tried disabling Weapon Tier Overhaul for War of the Chosen. Doesn't seem to have done anything. Will try de/resubbing here and to Integrated in case that helps.

Time for another round of "It doesn't work for me!" I'm subbed to both this and the Integrated mod. I've unsubbed and resubbed to both mods. I have both the paired dependencies as well as one of the solo ones [WTO for WOTC]. Nothing is showing up with the new weapons. No option to swap to them on existing soldiers, no option to make them in Engineering. Nothing.

Honestly didn't think much about it, since it seems to be a common combination of weapons (Coil and Laser), I just figured the laser textures where included in the content package.

It will satisfy the requirements of this mod for coil materials once I start adding coil weapons. I thought that was obvious from the mod's name.

Anyway, I'll just grab the "[WOTC] [WSR] Laser and Coil Arsenal Templates" mod, it doesn't add anything to the game on its own, so should work perfectly for what I need :-)

You need one of the mods mentioned in the requirements that will contain the LWAttachments.upk in its Content folder.
