I do miss my corn turrets. Thinking of making a potato cannon too for the lols.

I was talking with my friends and I mentioned the absurd amounts of corn I had.
We joked that the game needs an entire corn-central mod. Call it Cornhub. Add convoluted crafting recipes and a giant tech tree.
Corn people that when they die can be butchered for corn or when inflicted with burn wounds or overheated drop popcorn.
The Cornhub faction leader will have the title of "cornpop" and he will be a bad dude running a bunch of bad boys.
They bust into your colony and burn all your crops and steal your corn.
Kamikaze units that run into you and blow themselves up and pepper your colonists with scalding hot popcorn.
Create explosives using corn and grinding it into dust to cause incendiary dust explosions.
Items / buildings for creating GMO corn people with special traits.
Corn animals that can be milked for corn syrup.

It would be such a meme.

Why not make plants vs zombies plants as turrets

Yeah was gonna eventually add a popcorn rocket launcher. Scarecrow aint a bad idea. Firebreathing scarecrow, logic out the window. I like it. Popcorn nades i can do.

Since you're making funny mods how about a flaming scarecrow shooter. Or an expansion based on this explosive corn grenades with popcorn sounds those would be really popping. :p

You wont find it useless when you see what a legion of these can do :D

The turret is not OP at all though it does not require power. Only lots of corn! in comparison it does half the damage of a mini-turret but is more accurate.
