If u want to start new map take updated version.

Server owners, do not forget to uploaded latest map files to media/maps, that should fix your in-game map issues.

Dont get me wrong, update for sure is great, but costs a lot of work to fix server.

hi Jack, the in-game map is fully updated, I just checked. If there are any bugs, try uninstalling the old version and reinstalling the mod. I'll check everything else later, but first I'll deal with the update. Thanks for the feedback

I have personally noticed that the in-game map isn't updated for some changes in the newest RavenCreek. The new chunks of highway are there, but the swamp area seems to have a bunch of red shapes.

I also updated the STFR stuff a few hours ago. Would be worth updating those if you're checking them out...

WINDYY, Valindrae, Luna The Dummy-If for some reason you need an older version, I don't have any. I only work with the official version on Steam. There are other versions, though; you can find them if you Google them, but you'd better hurry, because they'll update them as soon as they know.

IHaveAIDS- If you haven't been around RС, you don't need to do anything. However, there's a high chance that Steam or the game isn't updating correctly (and that's beyond my control). In that case, you'll have to uninstall the old version and reinstall the mod, that's all. The Bugs discussion explains how to do this. It will take 5 minutes.

Luna The Dummy - There are a number of reasons why I'm not warning about the update. In any case, the mod description states that updating requires a new game. You accepted this agreement when you signed up, so why you don't have backups is really a question for you. No offense, mate. You can download older versions from alternative sources on Google if you really need them.

Hey I have a question regarding the latest update. Since lots of other people are saying it breaks existing saves, im wondering if my save will still be broken if ive never stepped foot anywhere near the old raven creek map before. Will I still need to restart?

Anyone have new coordinates for the update? I heard there was a movement with the map bounds.

The new update is really good, Raven Creek looks better than ever. So many interiors that were unrealistic have been updated and it's a welcome change. I love the new rooftop decor and overall it's breathed new life into the city I spend most of my run in.

It's a shame so many servers were broken by this update, and I think you could've handled this better than just reminding everyone they need to restart when you update it. Have some compassion man!

I did the instructions regarding the after update "bug(s)", however the coordination of the map unusually relocated as per my world map visual. The place is there but it's not aligned with the map visually, am I the only one who's experiencing this? Moreover, when I tried to get to RavenCreek some assets won't load or load properly.

Welp, there goes our server. Gonna take a wipe and lots of admin BS to get us back to where we were. At least give a heads up next time mate. Many others are more considerate of the things that can break cuz we don't have any backups to work with

Yes, Kenneth, it's just like when the developers add something to the map, you have to start a new game anyway. It's the same system.

Im guessing reinstalling will also delete anything built previously?

Quentin, delete all folders with RC and reinstall mod
RUNIN, right now i dont have message with any bugs expept from people who dont start new game or reinstall mod. Steam or the game itself, instead of a normal update with the deletion of the previous folder, simply throws new files on top, this causes errors and this is not something I can influence and has always been, as I warned about in the first point in the description of the mod.

So if you have any problems, just uninstall the old versions (sometimes you have to do it manually; I wrote about this in the bug discussions) and reinstall the mod. This will solve 99% of the bugs, usually after an update.

Seems I did have backups but nothing that was of value since the coordinates have been shuffled completely. ,xD

i hope you have backups, theres probably a fix, but unlikely if you dont have a save prior to the update.

Lovely to see that this mod is healthy and well, Its been a long while since i tried it, cant wait to see whats new when i do again!

New update ruined my whole server progress, now I have two Raven Creek loaded on one server. Any fix to this.

Decidedly one of the most legendary maps there is, and I'm just happy to see that it's still being supported. A lot of the best maps ever made have fallen to the wayside over the years. Happy for the update and keep at it!

A) 1. Unsubscribe from the mod
2. Subscribe again.

If this is not help, find in steam folder 2196102849 and delete this folder.
Example
1 . "Your computer"-"С:(select your disk with Steam)"-Program Files (x86)-Steam-Steamapps-workshop-content, find here 2196102849
2. Unsubscribe from the mod
3. Subscribe again.

Best map mod on the workshop. Fuck the entitled comment section. You clearly state that people need to start a new game after an update. They can make their own map mods instead of complaining. I appreciate you for making this, it has provided hundreds of hours of entertainment for me and my squad.

one of the best maps until the creator thought it was a good idea to update it, and leave it full of bugs. Now the best thing you can do is uninstall it and wait for it to return to what it was before. Now like this it is a useless memory leak on your PC

Although this update was much needed & appreciated. I feel that it wouldn't have been time consuming or hard for you to have pushed this major update into a new map called Raven Creek 2.0. Just my two cents. This would've saved you a riot & also gained you a ton of support. If you feel it isn't worth your time to make a new mod, consider putting your Ko-Fi in the mod description for people to support you & the time you spend on the mod. This will in turn make you & everyone else happy. @DavidBlane

As a server owner for a community that has been running for a few years, I'd like to respectfully disagree with Jack Rossman and others saying we should stop complaining. Yes, it is his mod and ultimately he can do what he wants.

But I'd like to think we're all part of a community with a love for the game. Otherwise why even put out content like the Raven Creek map? As part of this community, it would be nice to at least take 5 minutes to consider the impact of making sudden changes.

As others have said, this is a beloved map mod and a lot of people respect and appreciate the work. As such, it would be nice to at least consider all of those supporters. It doesn't take a lot of time to communicate.

Maybe the author should be more considerate of the many, many, many worlds that are screwed by a version update he was certainly adamant on never touching again.

Don't listen to the whinebags demanding things. It's DavidBlaine's mod. He can do whatever he so pleases with it. If he wants to push an update that turns all of the buildings into cotton candy, that's his right.
You fellas really don't understand the effort and care that goes into a PZ mod. Let alone a map mod.

Come back and whine when ya'll have made a map mod on the scale of RavenCreek. Maybe then you'll be more considerate of the author. :/

I totally agree with @Chadwiko. You've literally screwed up more online servers than any other mod. Why didn't you release it as a new mod? New Raven Creek? Or an addon? You didn't think about the end user of this beautiful mod. You've messed up. Fix it quickly.

My mistake. It's not hundreds, but hundreds of thousands so it's actually worse than I thought lol.
