@DGamer, it is unlikely we will ever be updating these mods again as our team has moved on from modding Rome II.

I know hehe, but the armored ones also use leg greaves and are more expensive both in recruitment and upkeep, standard legionary cohorts should also have lorica segmentata like the eagle and evocati cohorts, but withouth the leg armor, the armored legionaries are fine with having the extra leg armor to make a visual difference, and it is also correct that the armored legionaries dont wear manicae armor because that wasn't introduced during the early and late Augustan and Tiberian eras.

But this is just my opinion of course, the HD Team can most certainly do what they believe is best.

@DGamer The armored legionary unit has segmentata mixed in with mail.

I'm once again bothering you, most August body of geniuses, to request/suggest if you could give to the roman unit of Legionary Cohort the lorica segmentata as well, so that it can have the historical mix of hamata and segmentata, just like it currently is the case of the Evocati Cohort, this is one little but important detail that I think, is fitting and enhancing, and would be perfect for this most glorious mod!

@Celticus Is the big Rome II HD mod (the one that's an advert on Steam and gives a link to a download) still required or do you only need the different era packs? Do you do a full pack for all factions as the work on these are stellar.

@Koray, Rome II cannot have more then 40 mods I believe. You have to uninstall some. If troops are grey - too many mods.

i did everything by the book yet the the imperator augustus era legionaries has gray armor there is no any other reskin mod

Also, rome has now conquered the riches needed to ensure the enemies of rome, in her greatness, would forever fall and tremble if they seek audience with foul intent in heart.

I meant the appearance of the already existing unit... obviously the name of the unit says "armored legionares" and yet they wear the same protective equipment as regular legionares.

Just make them make them look as if they wear full plate and then you still have the evocati cohort for offence or maybe was that eagle cohort and vice versa for the defensive cohort.

I do not demand any new units added to the game - what so ever.

I just want him to HYPE the plated war machine up a notch. I wanna send my sturdy plate men out against greater odds meanwhile I watch my general fight amongst them in glorious melee with his Evocati cohort! :)
