easier as in a lot less lines to write.
Down from the 130 to around 50 per weapon.
And a lot of those can just be left out if you are okay with some stats taken from the weapon it's based off of.
I noticed for example that the tools for the bonded Gun_ChargeRifle were the same on the base version.
So that would be 20 lines you could just leave out.
Gun balance is a fickle thing so that has to be done manually. But the recipe for example can be automated.
I talked to the developer and they allowed me to take over the mod.
I am currently rewriting the whole mod to make it easier to patch in new weapons.
This will take a few more days. I will post a link here when I am done.
It's because it still counts as "making a weapon" so the quality assigned is random with some bias on the crafter's skill. If you want consistent results not based as much on RNG use https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1542004942
any idea whats causing this? i dont want to edit the save files every time
Nice mod though!
It's a mod for Stellaris and dates back to 1996, when the community of Corpse Party (PC-98) decided to prepare for the future release of Space Funeral, which served as the second game in the series (the third being Stellaris) by blackmailing the developers of the company into releasing company secrets. It took a lot of effort to make a mod for a game that doesn't even exist yet, but they prevailed and it turned out that it could even be used for the last iteration of the series, RimWorld.
Sadly, as one might guess, using a mod that was made about 30 years ago for a predecessor of the actual game you're using it for can cause compatability issues, especially when paired with additional mods.
I apologize if the community made you feel excluded, but with this newly gained knowledge, I'm sure not just you, but everyone else who struggled with the hardships of being treated as an outside will feel at ease.

And if you say things like 'if you don't know what it is you can just google search it' you're actually supporting the notion that using the full name IS better than using the abbreviation - so why argue?
Seriously. This all started because I just thought that having "Combat Extended" instead of "CE" would be nice, and that apparently is a worse crime than Neo-Nazism or cannibalism to some people if the way they 'valiantly' defended the mod against my entitled ways was any indication.
Honestly, I don't care too much anymore, it's more just for the sake of continuing the argument than anything else at this point, because I still don't understand what's so bad about changing a two-letter acronym into two full words instead. It's literally 13 characters of difference.
I don't know about you, but that doesn't sound so heinous to me.
When I replied, I wasn't actually trying to be rude, and I'm honestly sorry if I sounded rude anyway. All I was doing was explaining why I think your idea would be unnecessary. I don't think Johnny Cocas was trying to be rude either, reading what they said, but then you turned around and labeled us people who are "earning internet brownie points by being c*nts".
So, although I am sorry, I don't think you're a victim here. You could've ignored us, responded neutrally, or just respectfully told us you think we're being harsh, but instead you went straight to interpreting what we said as some kind of attack on you and insulting us.
Seriously, you say that to me, when I said, and I fucking quote, "You might want to actually explicitly state what it is so people don't have to spend a while wandering around trying to figure out what CE actually stands for and possibly making the wrong assumption."
So, a degrading, impolite and generally quite annoying manner. What drugs are you on my friend, so I can make sure to stay the hell away from them.
No one owes you anything, particularly when it's related to a problem you can easily solve on your own within but a few seconds.
Your parents probably feel a deep sense of shame whenever they see you. Grow up.
If there were another possible thing that stands for, it's not popular or relevant enough that it comes up with all the Combat Extended results, so logic would dictate it's not what this mod is talking about.
Could not load reference to Verse.ThingDef named ... and then a list ob bond weapons from VWE
What do I do to remove this error? Is it loaded in core? I swear there's nothing in local mods folder or in the workshop folder with your number on it. I also deleted the config files and the files under hugs lib.
I'm missing something, pls help.
