Make a request on Mlie's discord for their team to update this mod.
Post the link from Steam to the mod and a "Please and thank you".
They'll get around to it eventually.

disappointing, however the mod that adds non terror from the deep weapons is still be updating maybe they will take this??

this looks like such a cool mod, i might try it in the future. i loved this game as a child and it was the first computer game i ever played. @BoxingBud i nearly left this page without realizing that the plasma pistol is cosplaying as a laser pistol :(

This mod doesnt contain any custom code so it should work fine in 1.5 as is.

Is there any way to prevent enemies spawning with these weapons? I've noticed it can make you a bit powerful earlygame when you recover these weapons from raids. Not a complaint by the way, just a query.

love this mod and the nostalgia it brings, but one little nitpick - the graphic for the plasma pistol is actually that of the laser pistol here. Not really *that* big a deal, though. Fix it, don't fix it, still a 10/10

Two of my favorite classic games getting their extremely aesthetic sprite art weapons ported over to Rimworld was super fun. However the stats on a lot of the weapons are just bonkers. The Harpoon rifle is only 20 range which is odd because its very low power but fires decently fast but without the high burst of the SMG. The X-Rifle however has 40 range like a sniper rifle and fires a three round burst, same with the X-Pistol which out ranges the base game assault rifle. The big explosives are not one use belt items but unlimited supply weapons, looked fun but not at all balanced.

I restarted the game and it shat out this error for p.much every weapon in your pack.
Bullet_XRifle is missing thing class and will not work properly. Report about it to XCOM:Terror From the Deep weapons devs.
I wonder if it's an issue of mod order?

I don't know what causes it but trying to fire the X-Rifle and Hydrojet cannon floods my log with errors and doesn't actually fire the weapons, something about System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null.
Do you have any clue what this could be incompatible with? The heavy cannon or rocket launchers work perfectly.

I finally went to use a magna pack explosive I had been saving and when I went to run my pawn was stuck in cooldown and I was perplexed at first until I realized it was a multiple use thrown grenade, The explosion was fairly massive, possibly change this to one shot belt item or like the rocket launchers?

I appreciate that the Magna Pack explosive's throw range is shorter than it's blast radius, It's accurate, and comedic!

Also, any chance you'll add a *woosh woosh woosh* noise to the grenade?

ok - I havee not actually used the vanilla LMG myself. Although the XCOM2 Hydrojet strictly speaking couldn't fire at all out of water :steamhappy: But then I wouldn't really mind if you made it even more deadly, but ... I have two pawns now with one Hydrojet each, and they are 100% killzoning anything whatsoever that comes within range if they are triangulated. So... I still feel they could use more cooldown

Hydrojet cannon is identical in stats to vanilla LMG, except it has lower range.

I love the mod. But I feel the HydroJet Cannon is a bit overpowered. Or not exactly OP, but perhaps it should have more cooldown between its (still) long bursts of fire (nice sfx btw).

Magna-packs have an explosion radius of 8, and a throwing range of 6, so you can expect some hilarity from that.

steps of the orignal game:

step 1) walk out of the vehicle
step 2) suddenly get shot out of nowhere
step 3) watch your xcom soldier spin round 3 times before falling down :)
