Yes, see you've already gone and made your mod your seeking permission to upload it.

I used to have a version for scarce resources and other mod where I included the altered SBC myself.

The suppression of vanilla encounters is not finite there are configuration and settings that will allow it. I would suggest seeking advice on the mes discord.

MES will disable vanilla encounters though. So that's not an option.
I don't get what you mean by maintaining multiple versions.
Creating an offline mod the way I imagined worked. But that way I can't run it on my rental server.

Xenon, no reuploads. I used to maintain multiple versions because of resources being in th same file. I recommend using the MES version as it doesn't touch the planet generator SBC

hey there,

I'm trying to get this running with Resource Mods enabled.

I dont't know much about modding, but it seems the Problem is the PlanetGeneratorDefinitions.sbc, which controls both animal spawning on planets as well as ore distribution?
So if I added your mod's data into my resource mod files and copied your spawning settings into my PlanetGeneratorDefinitions, would that work?
Since I wanted to use this on my server, I'd need to upload that merged mods. Would that be ok with you anyways?

Do the animals and aliens from your two different mods only spawn on the earthlike and alien planets or can they spawn on modded planets too?

We figured it out it was something going on we been using it ona server and it crashed and it seems that SOMEHOW fixed the issue XD

It should be compatible, but the food drops came from edsr if it isn't then the mod load order is wrong or esdr has changed

is this compatible with Eat, Drink, Sleep Repeat? we saw that it dropped stuff for the mod before but it doesnt seem to do it now? is it possible that you could make a Compatibility Patch for EDSR?

Is there any luck with the hitbox issue? I really need to set defences to target animals as I don't want wolves to gnaw on my ankles on Earthlike.

Are you running multiple mods that effect planets or ore? Because of how keen setup not spawning something like scarce resources will stop it working.
You can always try the MES version

It won't work. Animals just dont spawn. havent seen a single animal in my world that isnt vanilla.

Sounds like a ou have a conflict in the orders he mods are being loaded. Try with daily needs and earth like animals at the top of the list

How this worked, please?
I was using MES, but i disabled, cause i am using now EEM. And i am using DNSK - Mk4.1a.
Sp I enabled this mod, but i did not see any other animal than the wolfs. I m playing on Star System scenario at an Earth Like planet.
I enabled AI, Wolfs and Spider on configs. Are there more things I need do to this mod works, please?
And just another question, the wolfs came to attack me, but after it have low life it start running away, and their speed is so high, it is too fast. Is it normal? I can't follow even turning jetpack on.

Daily needs will not work with mes creature spawner as that's needed for AiEnabled
I recommend eat sleep drink repeat and MES earth like animals as a possible solution.

Im curious @Chipstix213 for all of your spawn mods is there something that stops AiEnabled, These, and Daily Needs from working together? Truth be told, I love these mods, but if I had to give up Daily Needs or AiEnabled to get it, it just wouldn't work with my campaign.

I found the problem. The "robot raider pods" mod removes all these items in the settings, everything is fine

Ah fully loaded with NPC's in local host the mods are loaded from the bottom of the list up (other way in dedicated server) the last mod loaded will win so try daily needs at the top.

You can use creature spawner with this version you just won't get the biome spawning

Thanks for the answer. But, I've realized another issue:
The description says quote, "requires spiders & wolves to be enabled."

However, I'm also using AiEnabled . And that mod requires the use of Planet Creature Spawner if I still want to have Wolves and Spiders still spawn.

Unfortunately, the "Planet Creature Spawner" works by disabling the world configuration option for the vanilla Spider and Wolves spawning (because it replaces that function, I suppose). So, I take it that I can not use this mod and "Planet Creature Spawner" at the same time?

You said it should be controllable with mod load order. Could I get the MES version of this mod to drop meat instead of components by placing it before or after Daily Needs?

That should be controllable with mod load order, but to answer your question yes it will still work without creature spawner. Just not with mods that affect ores

I realize that there is a separate version of this that uses Modular Encounters Systems. But would this version still work if we use Modular Encounters Systems?

I ask because the MES version of this drops components even if using a mod like Daily Needs, unlike this which should drop meat.

You have to overide the wolf loot.
Mods like daily needs turns it into meat.
I have a mod that would produce raw meat that is poisonous if consumed. I can publish that if it's popular?

Yes unfortunately all bot factions are unfriendly. They definitely get shot and have very little health so they shouldn't be waiting ammo. Best advice is to turn off target characters for large turrets and use interior ones.

for some reason i start at war with the animal faction, so my turrets shoot them on sight. They also take no damage from said turrets, so my turrets simply waste tons of ammo on them until they run dry...
