So according to some light testing, and some video play throughts on youtube, it looks like this "might still work in 1.5. People may need to edit things using RIMMSqol to edit some settings depending on your active modlist, but it shouldn't be impossible.

The following mods seem to work this way, and will have this message posted in their comments for others to see.

Ambition of the Cosmic
Ambition of the Cosmic: Custom Edition
Ambition of the Cosmic: True Pinnacle of Creation
Ambition of the Cosmic: You're Going Too Far (SNS: AOTC Reskin)

A additional note for people who read this whole comment, yes it is still going to throw up errors about it not being labeled 1.5, you will just have to live with those or edit the files yourself.

It just does. YGTF is a reskin mod, so it only overwrites texture files. As long as you make sure YGTF loads after TPOC, YGTF will work perfectly.

New assemblies were used for the 1.3 and 1.4 versions that changed the XML tags I used for armor and research.

It's sad this mod is no longer 1.2 compatible.
You probably updated these mods to 1.3 and 1.4 only for a good reason, but you may also be ruining peoples' older save games too.

I use 1.2, I do not want to update, and if I didn't save the earlier versions of these (Science Never Stops) mods I would have been in trouble.

Even though I do not have the steam subscription versions active, the update still throws errors once the game has loaded into the menu screen due to the changes made here.

Well not anymore, but that was confusing. I thought it was another mod I had just installed at first.

Yes. You need the base AOTC, SNS: YGTF only reskins AOTC; it does literally nothing without AOTC.

i don't know how long this has been around but but apparently the shotguns dont have sound files is what i can interpret from this error message, idk how important or impactful this is

You know what? It might have been my fault...!
I appear to have forgotten to take SNS: TPOC out of my mod list, so it loaded both that mod AND this one! Removing SNS: TPOC seems to have fixed the issue.
Fascinating that the bug was around mounting though, even in the earliest days of the game, considering this is a very late game mod!
Oh well, I'll leave these comments here as a... curiosity?! Hehe!

I seem to have an odd bug with this mod.
It prevents my pawns from being able to mount animals. Even in a new game. I was always fine with SNS: TPOC, but after swapping that out out for this, the mounting issue began and it disappeared when I removed this from my mod list.
Are you aware of any mods that this conflicts or is not compatible with?

It is intentional, although I will be adding addon modules for the enchanters in the next update. (which will be a while)

i dont know if its the same issue for all the other tiers of neural enchanters but the zenith one definitly doesnt let you put implants in, and since it counts as a replacement bodypart in the surgery it kicks out all the other implants that were already installed

Funny thing that Reskin mod changes battery behavior from Immune to surges to NOT immune to surges. Don't wanna see 1M Watt explosion.

SNS: YGTF may be freely enabled and disabled at will.

The grind is intentional, due to how I formatted the progression.

Are there any mods that add late game enemies/factions that would be a perfect threat to this truly ascendant level of tech? Its like clubbing seals nowadays, poor tribals.

if you have real ruins you find AT LEAST one in every "wealthy ruins" event map. and if you have rimcities you can usually likewise find at least one in the top-tier wealthy cities. They also do occasionally show up in vanilla ancient dangers.

I belive you can override that by adding
<armorPenetrationBase>*###*</armorPenetrationBase>
to the projectile in question right above the line containing <speed>
I think you can also add a stopping power override this way.

Armor penetration is calculated based off of damage, and I don't know how to change that, if it's even possible to do so. I suggest you take a look at the Combat Extended patch for SNS if you want weapons with better armor penetration.

the Eternal shotgun has 300%, the rifle has 30% the pistol has 36% and the sniper has 180%. is this correct?

are the weapons meant to have such low armor pen? though they may do 2x the damage they have half the AP of charge weapons.

Ohhh, okay. I wasn't able to find any other version numbers, but that might be RimMods only checking the workshop numbers. Thanks for putting in all this work into an awesome rimworld mod :D

About the meals, I've already gotten a fix for that planned.

Also, I'll fix the Abyssal Hydroponics with the next update. Yesterday was just a very quick fix to get rid of some red errors in the console.

Hmm... both the issues I've posted are still relevant, and the version numbers seem to be 1.0.0.0 for AOTC and 0.0.0 for YGTF.

Was there some weird jank thing with the workshop?

Hotfix released. Multiple errors have been patched.

Also, the version system has been completely overhauled for SNS. SNS is now on v2.8, although it's still functionally v2.6p2.

Meals STILL aren't fixed? I'm pretty sure I'm just gonna have to completely re-make the recipe since it just won't work.

Hey, I think I've found a bug:

I'm unable to cook decadent meals, despite having Abyssal Matter and Luxurious meals. It just reports that I "Need Materials". If there's anything I can to do help triage this as a bug in the reskin mod or a bug in AOTC, let me know!
