@press f to pay respects ------ No, that claim is not accurate. Potatoes originated in the Andes Mountains of South America, not in rainforests. They were domesticated by the indigenous peoples of the Andean highlands in what is now modern-day Peru and Bolivia 7,000–10,000 years ago. The cold mountainous environment of the Andes is completely different from the tropical rainforests and jungles. And potatoes were introduced to Europe centuries before the Irish Potato Famine (1845–1852), Potatoes were widely cultivated, and a staple in lots of places, not just places in Europe. They were a staple crop in Europe because of their high yield and nutrition. The famine occurred because a blight swept through Ireland and it wiped out their potato crops. Britain's reaction and policies made the situation worse. But the British never forced Ireland to grow just potatoes.

if you read this, i think it would greatly add to historical and cultural immersion if potatoes appeared only in rainforest and jungle regions. historically potatoes were an import in europe that appeared only after european conquest and colonization, and so there were no potatoes anywhere before the 1400s. ireland actually only grew potatoes and suffered a blight because the british forbade the farming of any other crop in favor of turning ireland into a potato farming colony, so they didnt have to rely on the americas.

Subscribed, play ok for 1 night, this morning i can't load my save because this mod doesn't appear in the additional content menu anymore. Try un and resubscribed still doesn't appear.

I am seeing this error in my database logs:

What can I do to solve this?

It seems to me that the game lacks some resources.
Such as:
- Pineapple
- Beans
- Sunflower
The question of the "useful value" of resources can be discussed.

Think about what a major change adding Gas would be. You'd have to add Gas Power Plant, which is cleaner than coal and oil, but not as clean as nuclear; add new technologies to reveal gas and allow drilling wells, and fracking to increase production. Also, make it an alternate prerequisite for plastic instead of oil. It would be a Big Deal to add this.

please allow us to harvest all of them!!! a bunch of capybaras spawned near my capital city and I didn't have any more spaces to put down districts! I can't harvest/remove the resources so I had to start over

I was also seemingly able to create an industry for Capybara's with only one improved resource. No other city states that I was the Suzerain with had the resource, and it seems as if one improved tile was counting for two. Is this intended?

Biogas : swamps (Wetlands mod)
Vegetation Variety (Standalone) offer peat but not a gas or renewable resource.
There alot resource mods in steam workshop for Civilization Vi. me use near eight , some are unit gather & plant.:Diplomat:

I love this mod, especially Potatoes, because it often spawns in Tundra where there is a lack of food and it gives that immersive feeling of being realistic in a sense. Great mod!

I noticed the Quinoa farm improvement doesn't stack with the Sun God Pantheon from Religion Expanded. I think it might be because Quinoa is a luxury as Potatoes worked with it.
