Description
Adds six new resources representative of Latin America: Potatoes, Capybaras, Coca, Llamas, Quinoa and Yerba Mate.



Farm
  • Potatoes (Bonus): +1 Food
  • Quinoa (Luxury): +1 Culture, +1 Food

Camp
  • Capybaras (Luxury): +2 Food

Plantation
  • Coca (Luxury): +1 Faith, +1 Gold
  • Yerba Mate (Luxury): +1 Food, +1 Production

Pasture
  • Llamas (Luxury): +1 Production, +1 Gold

Alternate Economy Mode Compatibility
With Alternate Economy, the Resources now provide bonuses for industries, corporations and products.
  • Capybaras provide additional Science with many educational and cute products.
  • Coca provides Gold as you commercialize the leaf both for traditional and modern uses.
  • Llamas provide a production bonus towards Civilian units, for their importance in trade, food and warm clothing in the Andes.
  • Quinoa provides additional Growth and Housing for their impressive nutritional value.
  • Yerbamate provides a production bonus towards Military units, as a hint to their influence in the Gaucho culture, and all wars of hte region.

Compatibility
  • All DLC
  • All other resource mods (However, with Resourceful 2 you might have two different kinds of potatoes)
  • All map scripts and map mods
  • Aztec Rework (for the Chinampa resource art)
  • Additionally, these new resources all work with the appropriate base-game abilities, pantheons, etc.

@robaldot - Nope. Luxury resources cannot be harvested or removed.

I can't harvest a capybera tile or build a canal over it, is there any way to remove this tile so that I can?

I just noticed that I cannot harvest bonus resources now such as wheat or maize. I harvested some potatos yesterday, but in my new game started today, I cannot harvest any bonus resources.

I'm not getting the Sun God bonus from Better Pantheon for Quinoa in my current game. This is very strange and annoying because I have a _lot_ of quinoa in my territory...

Nhaga: Me use 3 resource mods , & 2 mods which increase luxury variety & plentifull to abundent. U can never have enough besides city often need to room place districts & wonders as removing resource on the plot can speed up things. And Botanist mod , can copy certian ones & plant em else where. Just make sure the mods u use are updated to feb 25 barbarian thing update since alot changes.:Diplomat:

Hello, I have no idea how the game generates maps and places resources. I would like to know if adding more resources type like that increases the pool of resources that the game can pick from when generating a map, or if they take up "slots" of other resources which would end up impacting the number of duplicate luxuries required to have a monopoly.
I hope this question makes sense..

@pat727321: I commited a mistake and assigned it to Coca instead of Quinoa. Should be fixed now! (however any industries and corporations that were already created in an existant saved game will not be fixed)
