@snek, I managed to get working by creating another cap effect. Not sure why the cap effect you created was not working for the bombard although it works for any other unit oO. Anyway all good now haha ty :D I'm still playing wh2 till wh3 is finished I mod the hell out of the game and I rly hate updates breaking the mods haha.

@snek. Yeap. All good I'm using the same unit set you did for your capped units. I'm not at home rn to check but I think it is the engineeringcap something like this. Ingame I see 30/0 (cause I already had 30 recruited on the campaign I tested). Weird that other units works just by linking to the unit set u made (cause its already linked to effect and building effect). Only the bombard is not increasing its cap.

@Macallan Is the unit set key also linked to an effect and that effect linked to a building? Are you seeing no cap at all or a cap not increasing.

snek all good? First thx a lot for the amazing mods! Just a quick question. I'm modding it to add a cap to the clockwork bombard but for some reason it is not working... I've Added on unit set junctions the same as the other capped units. It works with any unit but the bombard and I have no idea why.

Fantastic mod. I immediately got a sense of pre-industrial and industrial age tech that fits thematically and tactically with the Empire. Makes them so much more enjoyable to play!:steamthumbsup:

I don't think I ever got Mixu;s LLs unit sets supported here. I don't have WH2 installed anymore so cannot update this anymore. If you wanted to make the adjustment yourself, just sddeh Unit Set to Unit keys in Mixus groups to this. The WH3 version DOES have those included now though.

Great mod! Great work! I've had hours and hours of fun with GotE. I keep adding more mods and restarting my campaign, and I always have a blast.

Is this mod compatible with Mixu's Legendary Lords? I'm not seeing the Legendary Elector Counts' (e.g. Valmir von Raukov) unique bonuses affecting GotE unit stats, like spear/halb lord bonuses not affecting Ironsides.

Is this a bug/incompatibility, or am I misunderstanding how the system is intended to work?

TBF I didnt even know there WAS a built in mod manager until just a few seconds ago lol. No other game I've played on PC had that. Imma troubleshoot this later. I'm a huge huge fan of the guns in the base game so to see a mod like this gets my blood pumping

Hakbutschutzen are basically State Troops, with the melee of a Spearman and the ranged effectiveness, as a unit, of Handgunners.

Ironsides will be melee almost on par with Greatswords and ranged on par with the Surefires, but tightly limited by unit caps.

So Ersatzsolder, Hakbutschutzen, and Ironsides are the three tiers of Line Infantry.

Still debugging the bayonet rifle animation set (that animation set has been the hardest part of this mod by far) but it's working about 80% right. Here is the Hakbutschutzen in action.

@Red Crank Guns are working! I have to pick one of two ways to get the frame as a static prop, but spinning barrel is working, and I even have it working now with the barrel spinning at a slow idle speed at all times then accelerating when firing.

:) Good, and I'm sorry no one has mentioned that before. I am a bit basic in that i've only played Empire and Dwarves... and now Cathay. So I had no experience with summoned units before.

Well I'm really glad you enjoyed that. Nobody had mentioned it before, but I really liked that ability and if I bring them back as an axe infantry that ability will return with them.

ok. I really enjoyed them and their summon deer ability. It wasn't super effective or anything but it made me smile to use them as my main ranged unit in my Lustria campaigns. Suddenly out of nowhere and go "Nature has heard YOU!!!!!!" as a wall of only slightly effective deer charge vampire pirates.

Forstjaegers have been cut from. I have given their animation set with moving firing to the Jaegerkorps. I think I want to instead use their name and likeness as a melee unit, specifically a very mobile axe infantry

I'm excited to share it. I will need to play a campaign over the course of a couple weeks after IE comes out to really QA and balance everything, but I'm having a ton of fun just play testing units.
