@Sar Meister There is a focus tree, just not in the redux version.... a motivated person could proably copy-paste it there though.

@Glitarp It's an old civil War fanfic that someone made way back that was modded into the mod Equestria at War. It's pretty fun, at least the redux version is though there aren't any focus tree's as of yet from last time I played.

@Kiskar Fisk I love the idea of this being updated to the current Zebrica release, but isn't the next big release going to have a rework of Equestria? It would kinda suck for you to do a ton of work and then have that update hit.

Sorry to comment again so soon, but I was wondering if it would be ok if I uploaded my own version of the mod? I'd title it something like "Equestria Divided Redux", and try to expand the mod in the near-ish future.

A new batch of errors dropped last night, fixed those and got all of the leader graphics working again.

I'd be willing to take the mod and keep it updated, I'm currently working on fixing the leader graphics not working. I completely understand if you would prefer someone else to take the mod.

Maybe ask around the Equestria at War Discord Server, quite a bit of modders there.

I would have updated it long ago if i didn't 𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦 HOI4's hergonomy. I hate modding this game.
I'd be happy if someone just took this mod off my hands.

Damn, oh well that sucks.

EAW's map updated recently; specifically the Everfree loses a few provinces to Summerdale. The Everfree and Summerdale state files in ED have not been adjusted for the new changes which will result in errors due to ED's Everfree being in multiple strategic regions on the map. This will cause a crash which means ED is broken for the moment.

@Rebelgamer I have been informed that apparently it works as long as ya have the regular mod (Equestria at War) this should work just fine.

The mod relies on Equestria at War to run thus if EAW ceases to function, this will too. That said so long as you have Equestria at War subscribed and activated with this mod you will be fine. It will certainly work with versions of EAW from the current Two Eagles (V1.9) through to Pax Chrysallia (V1.7). It should continue to function with future updates probably until Zebrica is released.

Yes, but I think you can do it easier so that people don't get confused about which mod you could just let me edit this page of the mod by making me one of the creators, and saving this version just in case

You can make your own version of this mod as you wish, i'll leave this version here untouched until i come back to work on it, probably will take a while before it happens though.

I'm sad to say that so far, no. Current crap is making things slow on my end.
Frankly if anyone want to take the mod for themselves to develop i won't refuse, i'll just rename that one ¨Original version¨ and let them do as they please on their end.
Either way it will probably take a while before i come back to actually work on it.

or have different ways of gameplay like the dread league with bones or vampires

There could even be like a chinese united front to take out the changling invasion but by that point of the game. equestria would of been united


ISSUES

the events like the " Fall of Canterlot" having a similar design to the standard Equestria events like "a coup in lake city or the event chain that follows that Changling invasions of the deer lands" would make them less out of place.

the equestrian states jusifying wargoals on each other is a little odd considering game rules in EAW don't allow such a thing.

nevertheless good job and good luck on this Equestria at war mod.

its pretty good for an early release. it be interesting to see the focus trees more tailored to each faction.
I could a suggest couple alternative paths like for example;

HOUSE STAR/MOON
having an event similar to the "a humble opinion" event that can be done as the kingdom of Broadfeild , where the ghost of Starswirl the Breaded (Twlight's personal advisor) tries to steer her back to harmony.

with twilight slow change to harmony she could be seen as a "weak ruler" leading to coup like in the 'Plot against Kemerskai' route for griffonian republic.

as well as there being the possible battle for Twlight's favour by both Shining armour and Trixie lulamoon


there could be a commie route with say, a socialist slave revolt but that's pushing it a bit much at this point.

You know, I used to be a brony of sorts if that is what it is called and seeing the "Cupcakes" creepypasta in a mod after all these years of not even thinking about it is really nostalgic and kind of weird but cool at the same time. I have no intention of downloading this mod but it does look really great and I hope you keep working on it for the fanbase I was once a part of so they can enjoy the fandom as much as I used to before I just kind of grew out of it or just lost interest per say.

i don't mean description only, i have a bit of experience with modding(at least on ck2 and eu4), and i have always nice ideas on game balance(had a few projects myself) of course also description comes here cause i know it's a bit boring job to take it on yourself
