Does anyone know if this map works in TDM mode, or if it works at all? I see a lot of comments saying it doesn't work.

This map and mode is better than the rest by a long shot. Can anyone host this map or how does one do that?

Yo this dude doesn't update the map anymore. Someone needs to make a brand new map with some QoL changes ASAP.

Classic map. Such a classic.

Group system would make the game a lot more boring, and too easy.
Minimap maybe.. but not necessary. Just play the game and you'll get used to it.

can you may add a mini map and a group system where we can see our names and spawn near each other.

I cannot play this map. Every time I try to load in, it says "Authentication Failed" or something. Really frustrating, since this seems really fun. Sucks the dev isn't working on it anymore.

This map has gained some real traction. I feel almost like playing Stalker/DayZ. It's super fun, especially when you find your niche you enjoy in the game. Myself, I was taking over apartment area with a sniper, picking off people and scaring them away. Then was scouting for ammo. I wish you could update the map a bit, add more variety, more grim areas, make it refined, maybe another area ? Either way, I am very much enjoying this ! Hope you keep up the work in the future even with your day job !

I like this map alot, very RP oriented. Ended up rolling around in a gang just to have 1 person turn on us. Spend the next few hours hunting him and his lackeys down

This gamemode would be a lot more fun if it was more approachable.

Compared to Jailbreak, it requires so much build up to finally do something. I think the loot is almost too scarce, especially when player numbers finally pick up.

I honestly think when you find a gun, you should get some ammo for it kinda how it is in other Battle Royale maps. And the .50 CAL should just be removed like someone said below. Being sniped from afar is not fun and just makes someone wanna quit, especially when you have to spend 10min just finding some decent loot

Love this map. I wish you would remove the 50cal, its not enjoyable 1 shotting people or it happening to you and not being able to do anything about it.

One of the better gamemodes to come to Pavlov thus far. Suburbs are definitely the place to be. Things that could be improved: put border around edge of map to prevent falling off; make dense forests less disorienting; fix lighting/reflections so guns don't look so flat/dark. Also you should copy the map image from The Discord to this page.

Holy cow just had the most insane experience I've had in VR so far. I scavage enough where I have kitted out 50 cal sniper and AUG where Im rampaging across the server and shoot up the church. The entire server teamed up and started a manhunt for me had a mile long fire fight where I took down 6 of them before they finally stopped my sensless murder spree and proceeded to kill each other to loot the couple hundred bullets on me.

Pretty cool concept, but some of the lesser guns need to spawn with ammo.

whole lotta fun, only problem is the lack of progression which is understandable. Basically boils down to a big deathmatch with limited ammo. Safezones maybe?

Like where this is going and a lot of people are enjoying it but there's some things I would change being a "veteran" of this genre (DayZ mostly).

- First I would either give fresh spawns a M1911 with one mag or I'd suggest making the map much bigger so fresh spawns could arm up before interacting with players with better weapons, similar to how players in DayZ start on the coasts then work their way inland. This way they could stand a chance against being KoS by single or roving mob of heavily armed players.
- There's nothing to really balance "channel mobs" or gangs or whatever you want to call them. Sometimes a human wave of heavily armed players will dominate the server. One potential way to fix this is to add a Win Condition for one individual (for example: 50 kills) to create incentive for wiping these mobs.
- Add survival mechanics so there's something to do beyond killing each other.

I would love to do night, but for technical reasons it's not likely to happen on 2020

Love spawning in, spending 20 minutes running up apartment buildings getting super disoriented spinning up the floors and looking at the same 3 textures over and over again only to find a shotgun with no ammo, spend another 5 minutes running up more apartments, eyes hurting from seeing the same 2 rooms over and over, find shotgun ammo, instantly get killed. Boring af and an eyesore, especially running up multiple floors of the exact same building copied over and over with no variation, just empty rooms with 2 textures.

In reply to jayson, If you want an objective more than just survive, go play one of the hundreds of other maps. This map is for survival, not team deathmatch, or ttt, or search and destroy

You need an objective more than just survive, Add a scoreboard even just a temporary one to gain points on the scoreboard you could for example add pickable items like keycards or cases, disks etc they do nothing when used but you can store them on your slots and when you spawn in your given one of the items to find. You next need a flare when you get that and your item you head to one of a set of towers around the map light the flare and after 30-60 seconds you win and respawn gaining points. You do not gain points if you kill people but it resets there scavanger hunt. You need to give people a reason to fight. You could also add rare bonus items like bars of gold that are very shiny if you complete your hunt with them you get extra points.

I find the slow looting time is good. In a 40 player server there are many people that just want to play like its deathmatch and kill you on sight. Its easier to have player interactions when they dont have guns or ammo for them. Makes it easier to build groups and have fun instead of getting merc'd every 5 seconds.

I should be finding more loot in a house that has 3 floors and a ton of rooms.

The ammo and gun balance seems fair enough since they respawn so i dont see why it matters if someone has been playing first thing in the morning. When you hear that pop sound i think it means ammo just spawned in nearby.

The houses have so many rooms and it makes looting take too long since you have to spend so much time in a house, on the other hand it makes it interesting to have so many areas in a house to hide in. I don't like the house designs in general as their pathways are too linear and need more escape routes IMO. Maybe more of them should have balconies to jump down from, or instead there should be more smoke grenades in the map so they can be part of a strategy of sneaking up and escaping. Also, to help save time on looting maybe the items in a house should only appear on the first floor or something.

Yeah I agree start with 1 clip like in legacy rust. But also make lower tier weapons like pistols should spawn more common in outside the city. And only the snipers and high cal weapons spawn inside the city.

i think guns should spawn loaded, this way it makes gun management harder but makes the experience more balanced with the players who get on first thing in the morning and just go around killing everyone and the new players who just spawned

Yeah you can only really find ammo in the city, bare minimum pistols should be more plentiful.

guns need 1 mag with them - finding the right ammo before getting slaughtered is a pain
