This mod changes national focus of the Soviet Union strangely. It works though

this mod does not work with the No Step Back DLC correctly sadly

I use this mod and when I use the following mod along with it it stops the other from working.
The mod is: 'SOV both Collectivist Propaganda AND Positive Heroism'
Any ideas why your mod is stopping this and is there a fix?

Was playing with the mod and the Sinkang, made the People's front think that one slipped through

No worries. Its just that this doesn't seem to be a real faction but a dynamic one. There must have been something that enabled faction creation for germany or italy somehow. Do you know who was the faction leader/creator? Also did you use any mods beside this and the no factions mod?

Sorry no I don't have a savegame but if it happens again I will do for sure. Sorry :)

@Wolfskrieg Could you provide some more details about how this happened? Do you happen to have a savegame file for shortly before and after this happened?

There were some events that were able to be triggered without researching any national foci which created the 2 factions you saw in one of your runs! I now also removed all factions that are created by any events! I just updated the mod again!

thanks for the update, now it works 90% of time.
I have seen 2 factions so far, china once still group up into government of national defense, and another time there is a anti-soviet faction in Europe

Thanks, I too was playing and suddenly the AI was in a huge faction, I started WWII in 1936! ouch¬!!

Alright I updated the mod! This should remove any shenanigans regarding anything with guarantees or whatever! Hope that helps!

@Nadeshiko Thank you for the input and glad you like it! I already know already how to solve this! I will remove all Nations ability to unlock the ability to create factions from the national focus alltogether. And instead I will give every country a decision which ONLY the player can take! This way only the player will ever be able to ever create a faction!

But I do notice AI still group up into faction really quick, maybe it's because guarantees? I think if I disable guarantees in game setup, there will be no more factions?

@Wolfskrieg hmm I will have a look around in the gamefiles if I can find anything that would set a limit to the members. Don't get your hopes up too high because I am not too sure if there is any setting like that but I shall see and if its possible I'll make the mod for you!

Is there a way to let the ai create factions but set a limit on the number of members, say 5 max? I find that when the factions become huge the whole world explodes and i lose interest fast as it is just so chaotic. Anyway, just wondering if it is possible. Thanks :)
