On that note, the duplicate "Holocron" could do with being replaced with a pistol. Jedi are willing to use them when required, and they will require a pistol if put on a mission with the Lost.
@Acadian - You have to build "proper" Lightsabers in the Proving Ground.
So, how i should edit Config file?
Deflect is activate, but deflect animation is not working
Just select the Force User perk for your soldier, if you have manual perk selection enabled in the mod options.
Otherwise I guess you need to get lucky to have one of your squaddies randomly received it.

The description in the proving ground of the saberstaff and lightsaber are the same, i am sure they are different somehow.
There seems to be some mechanic in the required mods that disables perks under some conditions, i am not sure what mechanic it is beside that its slotdependent, it should be somehow explained ingame.
Blademaster works only with the meele weapon in the second slot, which means its not possible to make it working with the saberstaff, or the normal lightsaber and the holocron, kenjutsu does not work at all, i have some more crashes now after installing the mod, especially when activating an ascension gate, i think its related to this mod i did not install other but it might be due to changes in xcom or other mods since i last played too,
The mission rewards get in general a little cluttered (however that maybe for me even more due to bunches of useless alloy blades, any idea from what mod they are coming from?)
I got only one forceuser in some 30+ soldiers.
